I'd like to ask a coaching question of the matrix in general - I'm on the email list for the Rich Dad, Poor Dad people, and there were some coaching questions, and I answered them and ended up a few days ago with a 20 minute phone call from America that was a preliminary "screening" and I now have an hour long phone call from the States tomorrow, with a little questionnaire by email to fill in beforehand.

This isn't like the coaching offer that MG has had! I'm absolutely sure that the programme costs a *lot* of money. There's also a free coaching programme, for 360 days, on the web, that I was reading when I got sidetracked into these phone calls. I'm really not happy about the phone calls and the amount of psychological information they want, while telling me nothing about costs and what the coaching programme entails. I can hear my own "no, no no" really clearly, but I'm not sure whether thats my common sense or my negativity .... anybody else got any info about these people?

I said a similar thing to Pania when we were running a half marathon a few weeks ago.....that I wanted to start "losing" the toxic people around me, those that I neither get good feeling from, nor feel able to give good feeling to.....

Hypno I have lost a few of these lately. One was calling me for hours at a time about her ridiculous boyfriend situation, while my mum was in hospital and the other one was really judgemental about my life, while not being happy in her own!? So I have just slowed the contact right down and gradually it has stopped...freeing some time up for me to see fun, happy people who believe in me and feel proud of what I've done. I think we all need to gravitate towards them!

MG I hear you about all the Scottish negative sorts...they are just so set in their ways aren't they? Not saying it's limited to Scots but I've met a lot of them and they drive me mad!!! It's as if there's only one way to live your life and whether that suits or not you must do it or they'll look down their nose at you.

Another good tip if you are having a bad time on the phone is to smile, it is really difficult to sound down or negative with a smile on your face.

I do cash collection and have been using it for years, it really does help me to bring the money flowing in :)

Those rissoles are interesting - they sound very yum! I don't do much with veg other than cook them in a stew or stir fry, so this might be quite a new departure when my kitchen is actually up and running!

re toxic friendships. I have just kicked into touch ,as they say, a friend of some 30 odd years. I havent fallen out I have just decided to not listen to the venom about everything, the negatively, the moaning, the whining. I have decided not to put up with it anymore. I do feel bad about this, I have spent the last 4 years trying to help, offering solutions to problems etc but my friend just refuses to be helped. My DHsays shes a bitter control freak with a massive inferiority complex. Seriously I think hes right, I really feel she should see adoctor and some tranquilisers or something. I simply just cannot take anymore from her. I have given up 2 jobs because of her input [ i wont go into detail] and also given up the oppertunity of a pleasant thing because I was ,needlessly worried about something. I am upset about this. I have -eventually realised that although i thought I was dealing with the situation she just wants to keep putting me down because it makes her feel better, but its now impacting on family life. I am truely sorry I cant help her but I cannot take anymore vemhome directed at my lifestyle, because I am married and she is divorced and because I actually like my husband. I'v e had nearly 30 years of man-hating bitter conversations, she eventually divorced her OH but now spends all her time vilifying others ans screaming at me for doing part time work and having spending money. Looking at it now I am suprised I have stuck it so long, and that my DH has,TBH.

Pretty cool one tonight - didn't take too long to achieve - but again one of those simple ones that after a while really get you thinking.

You know how they say - if you want to know where you will be in three years, look around you at the five people you spend most of your time with?

Well for me - time to start moving away from the negative ninnies - and keep hanging our with my postive pals. I wanna be on everyones A list - and I hope I'm not on anyones D list:eek:

I want to be a positive, supportve, successful role-model Don't think hanging out with some of our Scottish Ah-buts!!!!! is gonna get me there.

Time to step up my game

Does not take too long if you have already done the previous homework. Unfortunately this is the one I have not had the strength to approach - but will have to tackle very soon.

I have been staying away from negative people and places, though - this leaves very few people to be with but hey, quality is what counts.

MG, you are on my A list - and I suspect you will be there for a long time.
