    Hi Everyone

MG - so pleased for you!

hypno - you mentioned some grounding exercises, is there anything you can recommend please? as I think this would be very useful.

claire - Wow!! So happy for you :j I have to place my order yet - need to look into how I make the payments

kittikins - have only quickly read the last couple of days pages but do you help with sprucing up cv's? I would really appreciate some input if thats possible but apologies if I have got this info wrong :o

Looking forward to the further challenges - still in the throws (sp?) of the great de-clutter - I have spent more time in the storage under the stairs these last few days than I have all year - the trouble is most of the stuff isn't mine. I have been progressing with the other exercises in order alongside of this - am really enjoying the challenges.

Sorry if I have missed anyone off - hope everyone is well and sending positive thought to you all.

Hi all delurking, well not really I only got introduced to MG's MDAM 3 days ago and am only really on page 28 yet..

anyway bearing in mind the no-coincidences thing and that there's a reason for everything I decided to do a quick catchup as I don't want to behind forever now do I ..

I've nae idea fits gan on here at the end.. (yes another Scot!) so sorry if I'm jumping in too soon, is the Matrix like a social network, an actual network (I'm on LinkedIn already, saw that mentioned) - or just all you kind folks helping each other out kind of thingie?

anyway >>Techie stuff (e.g. Wordpress - some one mentioned), that would be amongst my fortes, anything Webby really, a bit of programming and Databases included, graphics, web design, troubleshooting you name it - e.g. I could defo help with moving the WP directories and consolidating those DB's for whoever it was that was looking for that [sorry can't remember who asked now], even advise some plugins to help with the search traffic journey

So can someone give me a hint how far back from the end do I need to go to catch up with the matrix rules.. I won't expect a full run down again I will read my way there, honest.. and there was me busy contemplating my own 100 day challenge but I guess it's better not to get too tied up in that as it's be 24th October by the time I reach the end of the thread anyway.. I'm already about 45 days into our own personal challenge anyway, the inspiration here is sure to keep me going on that now too! :T

MG, hiya .. sorry I'm not really a hardware person so can't diagnose your patient :p, but in true make do and mend fashion Ive learned some along the way.. DS's ancient desktop used to work (that is 'til the hardrive went ;)) - just fine speedwise with a USB dongle thingy picking up from my wireless router, My router is hardwired to my PC (ethernet is the right cable, does old lappy have an ethernet port?) for work speed I need 24/7 reliability and Router is in my office anyway - Do you have a Wireless Router? Did you not get offered one with your shiny new package (most unusual to not get one these days?) anyway if not, might I suggest instead of wiring one PC/lappy direct to shiny new broadband you "Wish" for a router and wire it to SNB then you could run either, both (or any other) device within your home from it when the need arises, you can of course always keep your main workhorse hard wired to it and just unplug one or the other as needed if neither of your lappys are wifi enabled, if new lappy is wifi enabled then you wouldn't need to have it hard wired (via ethernet) like what I do but you might want to at times (like what i do) - anyway after you set up the connection on both lappys or any other new to you" ones they will connect via your router using either the dongle or their own built in Wifi, or the ethernet cable..

Where is your dongle picking up it's connection from?

after a wireless Router .. if still needed (if old or new lappy are not already wireless enabled) invest in a new USB Wi-fi "dongle" they're really cheap now (in fact possibly free from a kindly soul who has gone all wi-fi enabled & no longer needs one perhaps) - just a thought .. maybe it's actually that the old dongle is fine but cannae cope with the new fangled super speeds anyway? - If you did get a router with your package, somewhere in the specs it should tell you the speed(generation) of wireless connection you have and you would need to buy a dongle which can cope with those I think..

here's an example (by no means a recommendation or cure) just I can't find the right terminology.. it's the 802.11g (or b) wireless standard you would need to match as best to your BBand speed as possible to get the best speed no matter the appliance (*she thinks*) or where in your house it is

anyway if someone has already got you sorted or given better advice please ignore my rambles.. there must have been another reason I clicked to the end of the thread after all ;)

Oh and lest I forget, many thx for the inspiring read so far!!

Morning all!! I am so pleased that the violin arrived and was so well received, and say thank you to your neighbour for me too!! I did think after I had sent it, that I should have included a packet of earplugs for you too......!!!!!

Re grounding exercises - I will put some together, and post them up here. It may not be until tomorrow, when I have a fairly free (yes, free!!!!) day but I promise I will do them for you all x

Ok, this thread is moving way too fast, I wasn't in front of lappie yesterday and it's so hard to catch up!

    Claire, well done on orders!
Mg, glad the violin arrived and it's really sweet that DS1 sent a note to Hypno!

I'm off on holiday tmrw for 8 days, I dare to think how many pages I will need to catch up on when I'm back but we have this rule, you know, no emails/phone calls/messages/internet while on holiday? ahhmmm...

Good news for me, I got into the LONDON MARATHON!!! So training will begin as soon as I come back, aiming to do it within 4hours 30 min ( did half marathon under 2 hours). Can you suggest me pls some charities I should support, maybe someone has one close to their hearts and want to share it with me? There are so many of them-and I have troubles choosing- the only thing that I want one which supports children as I work with children under the age of 5, and currently doing my masters in Early Years.

Wow Claire, that's fantastic news about your order, OH and DSs will now really step up as your business takes off :) Your empire is booming!

Wow to Hypno and Kavics17 on getting into the Marathon. DD and I will probably go up to watch and cheer on the runners again - my favourite cheer is "You're making it look easy" which is very heartfelt as I think you're all mad but fantastic for running such a long way. Now if it was a reading marathon of sitting all comfy on the sofa reading 26 books whilst fuelled with hot chocolate and biscuits, I'd do it no problem.....

MG - wish I could offer technical support re: laptop/broadband but I know very little about these things. Hope it gets sorted soon and you're back to super-fast whizziness! Glad your office bag is up and running :)

MollyMunchkin - went onto your homepage and LOVE it! Those business cards are cute as a button too :) I can't get onto FB on this laptop but will check you out and add you to my page soon.

I'm thinking that I'm going to want a business-y FB page myself to get myself set up for the VA work. Hopefully people I'm going to help with CVs will spread the word and I'll start charging and maybe get good feedback that I can quote on my site(s)? All very exciting!

I really have to get the house and the spare room/office looking ship-shape NOW! I also really have to lose a gazillion stone in a blink of an eye as I really saw myself yesterday whilst out looking for new jeans as I'm too fat for the ones I wore last year :( It was not a pretty site! Any nutritionists/dieticians on here?

Fab news Claire! Ladies re the life coach thingy it was someone who MG met the other day who told people to get help but didn't have any help to give them ie accountants etc. Any ideas. Also Claire I need help to get pics on to Mr Site, had some on but they weren't centred so taking them off. My homepage should now be linked to the very early days of a website. Too excited and at work tomorrow so night all XXX

Ok No Problems, I'm going to Cardiff this morning with my neighbour (she got 40% off peacocks voucher ) Will help when I get back??

I shouldn't really be going to Cardiff I should be staying home getting orders sorted. But If I can get some xmas pressies cheaper its worth it. I will have to work really hard when I get back :)

i've managed to package some orders up this morning already :) and dh has offered to help with making the earrings to get the orders up to date :) plus he makes them faster than me :)
