  • Lucielle - sorry, but being an older Scot I remember things - google "tawse" and if you're young you'll think about how callous they are but for my age (& I'M NOT THAT OLD) people like me seem to think they should be brought back - along with the police giving youngsters a clip round the ear & threatening to tell parents.
Oh - the good old days of the 70's :D

Ladies, this moves so fast! Am making my website as we speak on Mr Site and it will be ready soon (out tomorrow night so will take a bit longer)

Can anyone remember who MG was talking about a few days (maybe a week) ago who was a life coach who would need people to link up with?

Just thinking I could offer my services but can't remember who it was?

    Thanks Ladies.

Scottish ladies, what do you think to me doing a group session in Glasgow someday soon?

  • Pants pants pants pants ............................

got everything set up on the "new to me" laptop, stopped after tea to have a cup of coffee with my pal who popped in and now the lappy has decided not to play.

the screen boots up and then gets fuzzier and fuzzier with horizontal lines so you can't do anything .............................what have i done?? have i killed the laptop??? can it be repaired??? any techie experts know whether this is a 999 job or had=s the patient copped it??

so now i am back on the slow as a slug dongle and feeling like i have really been kicked inthe teeth. for a few minutes, just a few, i really felt like everything was beginning to come right........... the broadband was soooooo fast and lovely.

at least i have been able to get my email - mr big has landed back home again and we start with the challenges again in the morning (his, not ours i guess). hope it is not a technology one or I may have to pass - lol.

    bad news!!!

mortgage Interest benefit is being cut so if i were to stay on benefits i would be £300 per month worse off:eek: better get booking some work pronto.

    good news!!!

matrix members are now at 67 :j:j will change my signature in a moment.

my "office in a bag" is now fully stocked and ready to roll.

mr big is home safe and ready to play with us again - although he has agreed to posting every second day to calm the pace down slightly.

    best news!!!!

hypno - the violin arrived today. :ji was out at the post office when the postman came around so he left it with my neighbour, who knew that it was for ds1 and it was needing to be re-strung after transit.

he opened the case, polished the violin and restrung and tuned the thing and brought it in to DS1 just before bed-time:T:T:T ds1 was so hyper its a wonder he ever got off to sleep - but the violin is on the desk right next to his bed, within reaching distance -:rotfl::rotfl:. he cannot wait for monday to show off his shiny violin to his teacher:D he has also written a little something that is on its way to hypno - his idea, not mine - honest. but it is really sweet.

you have made my boys year -thank you so much, he so rarely asks for anything.

Do you think a dose of calpol would help the laptop? -it seems to cure everything else in this house:cool:

    Goodnight

And thankyou very much to everyone for their help with distributing flyers and your support. If The sales keep coming in like they have this week, I'll be on the next step of permitted work in no time

  • Evening all..just thought I'd pop in quickly.
Its taken me ages to catch up tonight (too many distractions).
Hope every one has had a good day.
I'm going to try and have an early night, well, before midnight for a change unless American Dad comes on :D
