flying visit as I should be working but :j:j I have just received an email invitation entitled "how to use facebook to engage and consult with your communities" I think it came to be my mistake because I dont work for the local authority that is inviting me but I am about to ask permission from my boss to allow me to gatecrash anyway.
It seems that this is a Webinair training course. It does cost £79 for a one hour session but if there are groups of people in the same areas perhaps we could organise a group get together and all chip in the costs? Just a thought

shame hes not impressed because I am - thing is, its the people who are doing the connecting isn't it, we pm, we email, we link through third party sites ............................... it truly is a matrix beyond this thread.

maybe those in the know could write a short tutorial on social media - one on facebook, twitter, linkedin etc. we could share these through the matrix list to make it easy for peeps to learn something new. and you know how mr b is about learning

MG your energy amazes me, how do you keep going after getting off to a flying start so early? If it was me I would be ready for an afternoon nap after lunch! Either that or after a couple of days I would be unable to speak coherently.

OK peeps, following the suggestion on here I have signed up to Linkedin to start the network for my new business! I found quite a few people on there I already know, went through the process of sending invitations to all my email contacts (apart from my ex-boyfriend!!) to link to me. Now does anyone have any tips on how to make the most of this networking malarky?
