I am on linkedin too but after replying to invite from someone a couple of weeks ago I realise I am described as an independent market researcher (suppose that's posh for mystery shopping:D) but as I am not doing that any more I need to change it but I don't remember putting that in the first place so someone must have done it for me very confused I need to look at how it works as well.
Off to town as soon as my car is back from the garage (problem with the brakes:eek:) I am going to close three bank accounts I hope and then open my new business one :j it is stupid having all these accounts with hardly anything in them because I can't be a***d to shut them. Paid off three and a half credit cards this morning going to leave the half one until the end of October to make sure that the cashflow is OK with new mortgage payments etc but getting there

oh well done on the credit cards
I need to open a business bank account, but my credit rating is crap, so was refused. At the moment i'm using a step account separate from my current account to put the jewellery money in, and transfereing to my current account if I need to write a cheque for stalls etc.Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -

Ah, so the real reason behind all this is revealed :rotfl:. Hmmmmmm, does he do corporate events, awards etc? You might just accidentally bump into him one of these days. (I bumped into Jarvis Cocker the other week so you never know).A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

In the other side is a 6 part filing system, a place to put my mind mapping pens and a hardbound journal - with a sticker that says "put diary here"
this is the bag that has now got to contain my business stuff that i will need on a day-to-day basis - so that if i am away travelling i will still have access to all the numbers and stuff i will need.
i do have a laptop - but its not always convenient to stop and fire that up when you need something quickly is it?Memory_Girl wrote: »So first thing - find the details of people who work in universities with phd students.Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

This thread totally energises me. I have come down with a cold and am feeling carp and just wanted to crawl off to bed when I got home but now I'm thinking ,well I'll still go to bed early but I'll take my books and a notepad and do some research & make some plans.0

What I'm saying to people who visit us is:
You will have space in your luggage which will be filled with wooden animals when you return (it always is :rotfl:) please ask around of any nephews/sons/cousins/grandsons etc for their old football strips. These are made of nasty indestructable nylon fabric (so chavvy darling :rotfl::rotfl:) and so look good forever. The football fans (about 100% of people here) among the children in the orphanage that I help out in would be chuffed to bits to accept them.
If you fancy it pm me and we could meet up
The above is so true - but I also got a bow and arrow in mine and a wooden table!! I love their view of football out there.
@MG I'm assuming I'm on your matrix - do you also have Skype set up on your computer (I may have missed this earlier)2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0 -

Someone else on here has it also - maybe Crickett? I was looking on websites for statements on positive mental attitude - it wasn't what I had in mind at the time but it really struck a chord because of some people at work - so when things are going bad I always deliberately find a silver lining - it winds them up which amuses me and I end up actually feeling as positive as I pretended to be.
