Hi MG and Hypno,
I am on Linkedin and did re-do my page recently. MG, I seem to remember finding you on Linkedin - there are two people with the same name; not certain whether they are both you.
I don't mind having a look at a page and helping with that - but you will have to let me know when and what will be helpful to youi. I will also look into finding you a list of contacts in research training offices in universities in the UK. I still think that targeting MBAs and other professional Masters programmes is worth it - particualrly MBA.

When you know what's what with the Linkedin thingy, I'd love to point OH & DD in the right direction. I'm not technical or in employment either but I think it would be useful for them.
Sadly I feel like I can be no help to anybody on this thread

Just got to say that my 1st request to the Universe was that I wanted to earn/aquire 4000 pounds (sorry can't do pound sign we've lost it!) by April 2011.
The following weekend I got my first babysitting for months - this is going to become more regular.
This week: Do my BIL's cleaning, Sort an old lady's house out and babysit (different family), so as I'm doing these all today it will be at least an extra 50 pounds. WOW!:j:j:j
Just have to keep positive.Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Morning MG!
Congrats on everything that's been happening over the past week!!! Simply amazing and very well deserved. :j
I'm also happy to help with your linkedin page where I can.:)
Please feel free to drop me a PM/email with any questions/areas you need help with, or if there is anything I can read through for you etc. I've noticed it's also possible to link a Twitter page to a linkedin profile, which could be useful.

MG, I was right - you have two pages on Linkedin. But the profiles have to be build - at the moment there isn't much on either.
Hope this helps

Hi Olive! I don't think its true that you haven't anything to offer. You've experience of living on a different continent that most of us have only visited, if that. You have experience via Popeye of a huge part of the business world of today. You're a wise, clever person in addition! Don't sell yourself short ........2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
KC You are too kind

If I can be of any use, I have time and would love to help - (is that better?:rotfl:)
I keep copying and sending DD great chunks to help in her search for a job/career. This thread is inspiring!0 -
Yep, its better! For instance, you're saying you have oodles of time to research on the web.... thats very precious, y'know

Okay, I gotta go - I'm working in 50 mins, and won't be on here again till this evening. Hope everyone has a brilliant day.
