Right, I have an announcment !!!!!!

    :jI'M GETTING MARRIED!!!!:j:j

Now before you all get excited and start buying hats (Do you hear me Clootiesmum????) Listen up.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sitting in my garden having lunch and a long tall diet coke with loads of ice (makes it last longer, you need less, and it's LIDL's own so very DFW)

Listenning to Billy Joel - have you ever really listened to the lyrics to "Just The Way you Are"??? I had a moment where it actually brought tears to my eyes ...............and I found myself thinking ...... when I get married thats going to be my first dance - some of it with my perfect man, some of it with my perfect children.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm the kid who dreamed of being the Wedding Planner - not the bride. Thats why I became a Stage Manager :D:D. I never had visions of floating up the aisle - never, never, never:o

But I have now set the intention - to meet my perfect man. Not A perfect man - because everyone has their non-perfect moments (says the single Mom of 2 kids :rotfl::rotfl:) But the man that is a perfect fit for me - and more importantly the perfect fit for my boys.

The thing is - until this last week I haven't even had a night out since falling preganant with DS2 so I need to get a wiggle on and meet more men on a daily basis other than my neighbour (68 going on 8), my postie (married to a mate at SW club) and the Traffic Wardens (well he is a man in uniform:rotfl::rotfl:)

I think I have proabably now officially lost it - :A

Right in the next 15 minutes.

Do the cabbage for the bubble n squeak cakes.
Do the washing up from lunch
Take a bin-bag and find 10 things to throw out

    Later dudettes

    Memorygirl

PS - Moving on to Elton John for the afternoon - promise I won't listen to the lyrics too closely

Righty - heres the first pass at my list. I think I need to get my tops sorted out. Can't see how to make enough variations.

    THE CAPSULE WARDROBE LIST

    1. Maxi dress in blue pattern
    2. Wrap dress black n white
    3. Cotton light denim skirt
    4. Straight pencil skirt in dark denim
    5. Jeans
    6. Trousers mushroom
    7. Black wrap cardigan
    8. Blue wrap cardigan
    9. Blue gingham top
    10. Shirt - crinkle white
    11. Shoes black patent stacked heels
    12. Wedge sandals in leather
    13. Stappy leather heels
    14 Slingbacks navy patent
15 Black n white wrap top
    16 Jacket - denim
17 Big Slouchy handbag in cream
18 Medium handbag in leather colour
19 Beaded bag in blues and greens
20 Chunky metal and silver necklace
    21 Belt - leather
    22 Belt - black
    23 Scarf Navy and white
    24 Pashmina in blue

I might need to giggle this around to get more colour in my palette. Off to have a rummage at my tops to see what makes most sense. I think I could get away with adding some more fitted t-shirts in brighter colours.

    What do you think?

    Back soon

I think it works best if you have 3 neutrals and 1 bright, thats how they mix and match better. I am trying to go for black, navy, cream and red. I think you may have too many colours, you have mushroom, black, navy blue, denim blue, green, white, cream, brown leather . As I say I have more than this in many colours to add to, but this is what I will work to when I do need to buy something new. Sorry, this sounds like I'm preaching, I will step down from my soapbox, and sit quietly with a cup of tea :o

I've never watched Gok (as I'm fat I don't watch any fashiony programmes) so have no idea how to Gok a wardobe - how does one do this?:o Remembering, of course, that any new wardrobe must have room for a hat - MG.....

And congratulations on your good news MG.

I was like you when I was young - no interest in boys & no intentions of getting married at all - ClootiesDad came along - as my boss - once he broke up with his fiancee we started going out together, 2 weeks later I moved in & 24 yrs of marriage later we're both still here...........so you never know
