Click on the user CP (control panel) button on the green bar near to the top of the page, click on 'edit options', and there's an option to 'add homepage' - put the address of your website in there, and save, and then when people click on your name,it will say 'go to Clairewop's homepage' - and that will take them straight to your jewelry :)

    thankyou done :)

Can I ask a question about the "positive requests to the Universe"?

I know that in theory we should just think positively and things will happen. As a reforming pessimist this positivity thing does not come naturally to me yet. So, would it kill the process stone dead if I were to write down what I want to happen very clearly and positively in a book somewhere and then read it back to myself or out loud occasionally? My head is getting a little confused with all the positive things I am supposed to be thinking about, and I don't want to confuse the Universe!!

Most definitely Crickett. I do this with the big stuff. I write a note and put it in an envelope, I once wrote I will have a car by Dec 97 and be driving it to work. Now at this point I had not driven for 20 years and had no idea how I would afford it. I got the car (circumstances just happened) So go for it. I would write it very clearly and put down your timescales if you can. I think it helps to focus your subconscious and leaves you open to opportunities that arise.

Great news MG. And I second the Numpties cant even get it wrong right statement.

Evening all - hope you have all had very positive days!

I have now got 12 contacts on my linked in page, with several more "invitations to my network" out there, so hopefully that will build up nicely over the next few days/weeks and will prove to be useful in the future.

I have also added my website back into my homepage, because I had to remove it earlier this year due to a virus, so that is another step in the right direction.

Most importantly, though, I am still feeling very good about my future, on many levels, and that is a fantastic feeling :D

  • Ah yes, the purple puddles.... my two young 'uns are both on t'other side of the world, in the land of Kiwis. Children no longer, and living great lives. Lots of happy memories of when they were small and we did lots of things together. Simple stuff like walks on beaches, swimming etc.. But very precious.

The great thing, MG is that you're not sleepwalking your way through your children's childhood, and you're actively building memories by having a great time with them in the here and now. We can't hold back the sands of time, and our children do need to grow up in their own time, but we can have great fun and create happy memories by making every precious minute with our loved ones count.

    As you do so well....

    Hi Memory Girl

I've got a thread about getting money back from cowboy builders. The people on there have been wonderful to me and I know some of them are following your diary.

One asked me to offer some help with designing materials for your business as I'm a graphic designer and writer. I'd be happy to do whatever I can. Let me know here or on a PM if now is a good time to talk?

    Best wishes

    Mike

Hi Mags30, I'm studying Human Health & Physiology so that it will take me one step closer to finally making a decision on whether or not to go for teacher training. I failed my science O level way way back in the 80s but now it's compulsory for primary teaching. Last night was my first lesson (the rest of the class started last week) and so far so good! Like I say, it was great to find out what an atom is, although i'm still slightly confused by atoms/cells and how they inter-relate, but am going to do some reading around to bulk out my notes so it should all become clearer soon :)

I'm going to get an A or A* for this course! *ask me again in May when I'm panicking* ;)

Hi Kittikins - Having failed my O level Maths in the 70's I studied GCSE at the same time as my son and passed:j. You go for it!
