Also......had a thought about your mindmapping, getting "out there" etc. Are you on youtube? Can you do some mindmapping demos on there that last just a few mins?

I agree with this - I've been watching a few videos on motivational speakers over the last few days and think you'd be great. It would be stratospheric MG - time to dig out a video camera!

MG - great idea with the cards, have you been banned from every casino in Vegas yet? !

    Erm!!! yes:D:D
Actually the chinese went one step further and banned me from every casino on - and off - the planet.

so i'm wonderring who has got dibs on the first casino on the space station :rotfl::rotfl:

Actually - im not banned from entering, but more like encouraged to only play those games where you can tip the odds in your favour:D

last time i made it to the third row of slots before two rather handsome gentlemen appeared at my elbow with a "good afternoon ms memorygirl - may we escort you to the bar" - i think they meant stay away from our tables.

so note to self - large vegas hotels will not be good for secret tyrsts with handsome actors (mr byrne perhaps) - their facial recognition software is too accurate.

happy birthday crickett xx the pope has come over especially for you are you going to see him ?

mg the cards sound good also the contents of someones bag would be good (funny just talking about someone on telly recently who could remember peoples credit card nos !! how funny would that be as an after dinner trick ,scare them into buying your book or talents )

i can do that - and i have to tell you it scares the pants off journalists when you do it. i won't name names of course, but if anyone wants to go shopping on the NoTW expense account give me a call :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: PS I am joking!!!!

also mg how is raising the money for ds1 schooling going have i missed a post

nope - you haven't missed a post. still chipping away by doing work for other peoples programmes and having them pay the school charity direct.

i have decided that to make the last £3500 i am going to run some weekend study courses for ages 10 plus at the school - but i guess a local church hall or something would work just as good.

having looked at what tutors charge, have settled on £80 per student, with a book, a day with a mind mapping world champion and memory expert, mindmapping materials provided on the day and access to the on-line course thats been developed for reviews afterwards.

this will allow me to get fully back to speed, help some kids greatly and pay the school the money for ds1's education. TBH i know that one of the other parents has just seperated and she is truggling as shes living only on a bursary (shes in her last year at medical school) so if i can manage to drum up enough interest i would love to pay her ds's fees this year too so that she can get back on her feet.

so looking at running days or so with 15 kids in each, aged 10 and upwards in local halls - cheap, and quick - and doable i hope:D

Crickett - happy birthday! I've noticed you and your posts from reading through the thread and joining so recently, and there's a lovely "tone" that comes across. I'm glad you've got such a great birthday happening for you.

MG - oh my word, if thats whats already in your past, your future is going to be just astonishing! I'm so pleased I found this thread!

The latest challenge - well, what made me passionate, was escape. On my bike (when I was 7) or into books (from age about ten months, apparently). Flying (which probably came from the Biggles books I used to read) which is odd because I had a flying phobia for a long time as an adult, and still find it difficult (when I can afford it) tho thats actually a control issue.

Well, off to do the mundane things, so I can step up to the extraordinary things later on.

  • Just delurking to say MG I think I may originally be from near where you are based from reading through your thread and I don't know if you already have a plan for how you are getting the kids for the workshops you want to run but if there is going to be any kind of webpage or facebook page etc I would be more than happy to forward it on/share it with friends back home ... the few with kids I think are younger than you would like but if I pass it on for them to pass on etc :rotfl:

Let me know if it would help in anyway
