Souk - try your library first please
I've realised I have an unread copy of You can Heal your life on the shelves so once I've finished my current book, I'm going to dust it off

God morning
Sun is shining hereso washing machine is on, and a load on the line
operation Kitchen is still underway, but hopefully will be finished by this eveningBoiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
I have just finished a marathon three hours on the computer before the baby awoke and wanted breakfast. Ds1 slept over at grandmas last night as grandad is taking him golfing with the "big kids" - thats how we wives and daughters refer to his golfing group.
would you like breakfast - yes
would you like cereal - no
toast - no
banana - no
yoghurt - no
well what would you like? - pancakes !!! pancakes and toons!!!!
:eek: How does a two year old know its sunday and on sunday we have pancakes and cartoons???? swear this one has been here before - like the baby from "Family guy"
So bubs is fed - happily munching pancakes in front of cbeebies, and i take my breakfast outside to have a sit and a cup of coffee after hanging out the first load of washing.
what a beautiful morning - clear clear shiny blue sky, and a wee nip in the air too (well we are further north than some of you). puts me in mind of pulling out the slowcooker, getting creative with pots of soup and baking with windfall apples.
A whole new season is starting - which is when the tears started too. I suppose after all the busy ness of the last week or so they were to be expected - but a quick blub (over nothing but how beautiful the morning was) i was able to finish my coffee and have a good think.
You are not going to believe this but i have gone beyond being scared about aiming for £400k - don't get me wrong i have absolutely no idea (yet) of how we are going to get there, but I've decided that the biggest scariest step will be the one stepping off benefits - not aiming for such high numbers. that once the first step of creating enough booked work to let me sign-off is accomplished there is actually no point in being scared - becasue i will have already succeeded iYSWIM.
BTW getting off benefits and back to work was one of my original 100 day challenge targets - but i could never have dreamt that i would ever be part of somenting like this.
So today i have some more work to complete and email back to Mr Big - but not too much because it's a Sunday. I've got a couple of loads of washing to do and make a nice dinner for ds1 coming home.
sssshhh!!!! don't tell him but i actually used a tescos voucher to buy a teeny piece of brisket and some dairylea cheese for him yesterday. he loves pot roast, roast potatoes and veggies - and of course yorkshire puds. Dairylea is his absolue favourite sandwich filling - and i thought he has been such a good lad over the last while that i would like to do something special for him.
I've also been through my penny pot and counted out enough money to buy the daily mail all this week - not for the newspaper cos i don't buy one any more, but for the Attenborough DVD's. I thought he would love these in his advent calendar over the christmas holidays so will set time aside to make sure we have 7 "movie nights" just him and i together in december. means a special trip out every day to the supermarket, but if i just take the right money we shouldn't find ourselves tempted.
and of course ..................... saving the best for last.
:j:jI HAVE SOLD THE 18 BOOKS I NEEDED TO SEE ME THROUGH THE NEXT THREE WEEKS OF NO CTX MONEY:j:j
In fact i have actually sold 21 books - so the news is even better. there are still plenty books here though if anyone still needs them - but you guys have saved my bacon in so many ways over these last few weeks - i wish i had a packet of big gold stars to hand out.
thank you, thank you , thank you - and if anyone from ctx is reading you have our deepest sympathy's working with a system that is so fundamentally not fit for purpose, it must make your job incredibly difficult.
if the guy who called me liar is reading however - na na nana na!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've been a wee bit naughty
been so busy this week that i haven't had a read of some of the other threads - and when i got to the first page a particular title about campervans caught my eye - and a new thread of only 26 postings.
So whilst i was waiting for the next load of washing to finish i had a quick read, and the lady mentionned that her son was waaaaaayyyy stressed about his gcse's.
So seeing as i am £30 over my target i whipped a "Students survival guide2" out of my stash and googled to find and address.
so on top of my pile for posting monday is a book heading off to orkney addresses to
"The son doing the gcse's next year" - well its only gonna cost me the postage and it feels real nice to be in the postion to actually help someone IYSWIM??
Bet thats a suprise when it lands on his mat
