Edited to add - TellmeitsFriday (it is!) you have the same thing - you are under two different names, if you click on your picture (on the little picture squares) your first action(ie when you joined) is under a different name, I am "picking" on you cos unless you have really mean parents it isn't your real name.
I have changed my profile - hence the rest saying Buffy, but the first one wouldn't change, can anyone suggest anything to help?
thanks xxx
Haha! Bob is not my real name! When I first registered on FB I called myself that - because I didn't know if i would like it. Lots of other accounts seem to have linked up to FB and used that name.
Ironically, when I tried to change my name on FB they told me i was changing to a fake name and wouldn't let me for ages. Maybe because I was changing from a boy's name to a girl's name.
Maybe register a new email address and type in your screen name as your name. Someone must be IT savvy enough to know how to stop this!!! x0 -

Thanks CM. Did try last night and - well if you have been on the blog you would have seen that I am still there with my whole name. Probably will have to accept it and move on...After another try that is - never give up without a good fight.

she was galloping through her prime, no partner, no kids and no fun anymore - when she gets fired for turning down one of her bosses unwanted advances and a whole round of unfair dismissal and sexual harrassment suits are filed.
she loses her job, her flat and the expensive lifestyle that she thought she wanted, discoverred mse, relocated to the country, got a cute cottage with some land, a husband, kids, some chooks ( a breadmaker and slow cooker naturally) and after following a random thread on Debt Free diaries rediscovers her joy of sewing and becaome the Jane asher of the sewing world. reconnecting an entire generation to the joy of beautifully crafted and well fitted clothes. appearing on day-time telly, publishing books and being commissioned for her own ch4 series with auntie gok as the guest presenter.

ok mg - enough coffee for the morning i think:rotfl:
MG
Oooh sorry MG, that was meant as a light hearted dig at Hypno - not you!:o:o
I didn't know you were a SB too - no offense intended0 -
Help!"
Please..
Calulate your monthly amount.
Add 10% emergency amount.
Multiply it by 12 to get annual figure
Now double it (and if you're brave double it again)
Now divide it by the number of weeks per year and hours per week you feel you should work, and hey presto, that's your "REAL" hourly rate...
i.e. (oh this is the accountant in me coming out now)
Monthly = £1000
Add 10% = £1100
Annual = £1100*12 = £13200
Double it - £26400
Double it again - £52800
Divide by no. of weeks - 52800/36 = £1466.66
Divide by no. of hours - 1466.66/30 = £48.89
Hope this helps x0 -
OK I have thought about it mulled it over and after a restless night I have decided to gamble if my first idea is going to work I have to take a risk and although it is not the best time for me to start as cashflow is extremely bad at the moment in another way what a better time to start now is when I need some cash coming the other way not in six months time although to have some then would be OK too. So I am off to gamble now and if that turns out to be a no hoper I will think of something else but at least I am going to try.:D
I really feel very excited and looking forward to this which after the last few months is a victory in itself I will name my new business after my grand daughter so that she will always be a part of my future:)
OK just had to break off posting to clear up sick from the little one only to be expected really as the other two little ones have had a sickness bug this week already - she is happily eating toast now and singing :rotfl:but just goes to show that I need to be self employed and flexible in my working to cope with family dramas.
Right off to do my gamble now and then at 10am off to do some more decluttering going to do it in hour on hour off spurts today as yesterday I did a bit too much the other hour will be for relaxation and research and coffee
Hope your day goes well MG and that you too are making steps towards your future.
I must admit I did smile at MG's description of a stockbroker and was waiting for Hypno's reply:rotfl::rotfl:

This is getting funnier by the minute Mac MG isn't a SB she just didn't know that Hypno was - this is fiction - but it would be interesting as to how much Hypno relates to it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

PS She isn't a SB yet the way things are going who knows what we will all be doing0 -

Thanks tellmeitsfriday!" Seen as though I work in accounts & I'm training, it's not looking good the fact I can't add,divide & multiply :rotfl: x"Friendship is certainly the finest balm for the pangs of disappointed love." Jane Austen.
