Looks like pretty mixed fortune week (or start to the week) for many of us;) sooooo......I thought you might like this Secret Scroll;
Each of us is attracting in every moment of our lives. So when you feel that the law isn't working for you because you don't have what you want, realise that the law is responding to you. You are either attracting what you want or you are attracting the absence of what you want.
The law is still working.
This secret scroll has been a nice wee timely reminder as my impatience has been tested. I was so certain the fab house-buying couple would have contacted their solicitor and I would receive THAT call...instead my thoughts to the good ol' Universe have been "why haven't I received an offer??" and of course the good ol' Universe has translated this to....not receiving an offer........:o
On the plus side a colleague of a colleague of a colleague (confused???!) handed me some special scent which you spray before prospective buyer come round and it does its magic stuff by convincing the buyer to buy:D:D:D
:ASending good vibes for a GREAT week to all:A

you knwo one of the hardest things I am getting my head around is that.................
the life i am living now is the one i created for myself.
...........no-one else created this life, all the crappy stuff and all the good stuff falls squarely at my feet.
Sometimes its so hard being truly responsible because there is no-one else to hide behind or blame.
So i am trying to stop beating myself up about my kids doing without, about our constant struggle with pennies and moving forward into creating an abundant independant life full of fun and adventures instead.
..................but sometimes i slip up:o
........................ but i'm only down, i'm not out and as long as i get up again and start plodding towards that goal it will get easier and easier until one day everythign will just slide into place and the journey will be smoother and less streessfull.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I was buying cucumbers this morning to make some dill pickles for Christmas (on offer at LIDL's not that i'm super organised) - and was wondering how you and the family-to-be were getting on.
be kind to yourself for the next few days - and let us know as soon as things start moving so we can sent some positive thoughts (and very strong painkillers if needed) your way.

The one day mind mapping, memory, speed reading and study skills course has been designed for the following groups.
1. Secondary school students
2. Teacher training
3. further education students (post 16)
4. for professionals (thise who need to work and study at the same time)
essentially the same core course with different excercises, examples and stories to make it relevant.
each individual subject can al so be presented as a seperate stand alone module - although it takes longe to teach seperate sessions than melding it together into one complete day.
Each individual subject also has a one-hour "taster" talk designed to give a flavour of what will be covered.
Is that the kind of thing you mean Firewalker??

ps would love to talk more with you now that things are less manic:D
Hi again MG!" I'd be really interested in the revision skills & stuff for the professionals, as I'm halfway through a AAT qualification & it takes me a couple of tries to get the hang of it, next year will be my 4th attempt at the intermediate level. I just can't seem to get things to stick in my head or the motivation to carry on!"
Hope alls well, in MG land!""Friendship is certainly the finest balm for the pangs of disappointed love." Jane Austen.

hi MG, i have spent the last week reading your posts and have been inspired. i now have a collection of recipies to try and have turned my understairs cuboard into a larder (have planed to do this but needed the motivation). i am even geting my bread maker out and will be making my own bread. i am off to collect a slow cooker that i have just got off freecycle. my plan is to get everything sorted before the end of sep as i start my final year at uni and need to keep my head in the books this year.
you have given me a kick up the backside and got me motivated again.
thankyou

My best friend has just poped around with an old winnie the pooh duvet of her dd my for ds2. He's in his own room now but i only have one duvet cover for his bed, and well considering we live in scotland you really can't always rely on washing and drying bedding in one day through the winter.
When she came in the table was set for lunch - although ds2 was sitting up and colouring in because his chicken n veg soup wasn't cool enough yet. he was happily munching on a slice of sourbdough though so wasn't too worried.
I had made a pot of expresso coffee (real beans and my italian coffee pot) so that we could have something nice to drink, and there were two slices of hm banana loaf in the microwave defrosting to go with it.
I lift the wicker basket of ironing off the chair as she comes in - all finished - wayyy!!! go me!!!!!!!!!, pour her of coffee and slide her over the plate of cake from the microwave. I plop the soup in front of DS2 and clear his drawing stuff into a basket and pop it back in to his room.
Then she leans over to me and says "im worried about you!!!"

But isn't that just the best feeling in the world!!
Sooo much more worthwhile and rewarding than somebody admiring the latest on trend handbag and matching shoes.
I absolutely admire what you're doing and please, don't for one moment think your children are going without.
How many children would love for their parents to be able to cook for them instead of shoving a note in their hand and farming them out to Muccy D's and the like...
You are teaching them life skills they will then use throughout their life(IYSWIM) its a shame you can't run classes in that too.
On the distance teaching side have you considered the possibilities of web cams and maybe a video tutorial with a live link up so they can ask you questions as and when they arise......just a thought...:o
Off back under my stone now

Ok - Grannma dionnes dill pickles (not my gran, but the gran of a memory guy who lives in new york - so these are sour pickles not sweet like lidl ones)
3 cucumbers, quartered then cut into 1" chunks
6 small onions or shallots, peeled n cut in to eighths through the roots.
prep the veg ans layer it in a colander with lots of salt - about 2 cups. put a plate over the top of the veg in the colander and weigh it down with a pot full of water. leave overnight so that the juices runs out. Rinse well under a tap the next day and lay out on a tea towel and pat veggies dry.
steralise ennough jars and tightly pack the veg in. Makes about 6 x cook-in-sauce sized jars.
put 2 pts white vinegar in a pot with 1oz fresh dill fronds and 2 heaped tsp coriander seeds plus the same of black peppercorns. bring to boil and simmer for a minute then ladle into jars pressing the veg down to get rid of any air bubbles.
put waxed disks on top and seal with lid.
Store for 3 months in a cool dark place before eating.
These are being made because I am making "boxing day baskets" for christmas this year. a box of lovely things to eat with leftovers on boxing day - dill pickles, piccallili, chutney, marmalade and a loaf of good sourdough bread or pumpernickel, maybe even some ginger cookies.
need to get a wiggle on - school run beckons
