This is because I see things from a different perspective to most, you see a coupon, I see cash, if the coupon can get me what I want, then why spend the cash? the cash is then freed for the luxuries in life of which there are far too many I enjoy that I could otherwise afford. It's simple economics its a 25p note to me!:rotfl: :rotfl:
What denomination would be your temptation? If perhaps you saw a £5 note on the top of a bin, would that tempt you? a tenner? What's your particular threshold would have been a better pollFour guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

It's not even considered theft if below £1 in value to pick up coinage or any other discarded matter in a public area. Sorry I should clarify that a little, that is assuming you are not aware of its rightful owner of course, the ownership of the receipt is related to the customer and NOT the store, therefore pretty much unless you actually see someone discard the receipt in the bin, it is highly unlikely you could establish ownership and make any serious immediate attempt at return which does not inconvenience you unduly or require expenditure of time or finance. Your property in essence, before anybody comes up with the old Tesco cherry "The store is private property" it matters not it is a public place.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

I see things the same way as this, Ben! I can't believe how often my OH glances at a coupon I've carefully cut out (or printed off the pc in shedloads) and says, but we don't even buy that....... I have explained the concept until I'm blue in the face, to me it's cash!
I don't even notice the product mentioned on a coupon, I just see it as x amount of shopping cash. Same goes for tesco points, x amount towards next years holiday.
But back on topic, Ben, apart from using several cards in relatives names (which I intend to build up soon) what other tips can you give me for how you have managed to avoid a wombling letter? I have only been wombling a few months!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I am what you might describe as a Tesco parasite.
I am a peculiar beast, a predator that preys on another predator, my size is so insignificant to my prey when I strike at most it shrugs and carries on with what it was doing, but if carefull I can nibble away at the ankles and supply my needs unnoticed by the mighty beast I feed on!Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

I too have had this thought but the reason I don't is because I do!
