Dear Diary

  • So Dear Diary

A busy and strange few days. Tuesday had a night out for bosses big bday dinner(not a good idea on a school night, I commute so add 80mins to the day).

Started to lose my voice earlier in the week and by today was absolutely shattered, no voice and run down, went to the office for 7.30 as usual but came home about midday and slept for about 4 hours.

Think I need to chill for a few days, get my voice back and build up my reserve levels again.

Payday next week (Thank goodness) so need to get organised for the next month oh and a little thing called Christmas.

Think I will carry on knitting for my GS (Thank you Nora) and relax a bit.

    Take care all

Aww bless you , hope you feel better soon.:grouphug:

I have found the sleep has helped but decided its not worth stretching my vocal chords too much so didn't go to work today.

All you can do is drink plenty of warm fluids and try to rest up.:coffee:

Are you doing anything on your week off?

  • Hello diary

I have come to vent I am so angry I could scream (well I would if I had the voice to do it!!).

Ex was supposed to be going for coffee with a "lady friend" and told me he needed money for that and for petrol. When I said he should have thought about it before he went and played golf last week (cost £25+) he said he would borrow it off his mum.

I said to grow up, so now he has sent a text to lady friend saying he cant go, and guess whose fault it is.

Every time I want to do something I have to really think about it and gauge if I will have the money or not, he just doesn't seem to care.

So wish I could just sell this house and find somewhere on my own but know that wont happen for some time.

Ok Sorry for the rant will go and have a nice cup of coffee and calm down.

    Have a good day all

  • And breath.......

Met BF half way between him and me for a coffee and breakfast.
Also to calm me down over my explosion this morning (Sorry Diary but you are a good place for me to vent)

Went into town to try to find something to wear to friends wedding a in a few weeks, no joy.:(

Why cant I find a clothes chop that realises I am "smallish" on top and "biggish" ok huge on the bottom but still want something nice to wear!!:o:o

So back to the drawing board may have to hunt in deepest darkest depths of wardrobe and see if there is something there.

Have come back and decided to draw up yet another spreadsheet for Ex to see what he spends money on and why I cant afford to go on like this.

Hopefully I will work something out I normally do.

  • Oh Diary What an Idiot I am so embarrassed.:o:o:o:o

I had the date in my diary for next Saturday, but my dear friend who is getting married next month has
just been here with her fiance to pick me up for her afternoon hen tea.

I am so angry with myself for getting it wrong and as I still don't have a lot of voice I didn't go.

I had been feeling a little more upbeat as I had learnt a little bit of crochet from you-tube but now
    just feel such a twit.

She was very forgiving but it would have been a chance for me to meet her family before the wedding and I just feel
    really yuck.:(:(

Well I had best go and look at the dinner I was making as she arrived.

I cant even blame it on old age....well not much!!!!!:(:(:(

just blame it on your illness, i'm sure your friend will forgive you, if she's a good friend she definitely will.
i arranged to meet a friend next week in london but i got a text from her last week asking where we were as she was outside the restaurant lol
i felt terrible but my text had been clear on dates so we've just had to write if off as a mistake.
  • Thanks Lemon for helping me see things a bit clearer.

The message was on my old phone but I couldn't pick the messages up when I checked today.

Another friend has said maybe I mistook the 20 (zero) as the 26 (six).

So I have made sure I have the wedding date and date completely right.

Is it tomorrow you go to outlaws, hope you have a good time.

    Catch up soon
