Hello All and Dear Diary
I have spent quite a bit of time reading various threads this weekend and have decided to start my own diary.
Please forgive me if I seem to waffle as Im not really sure what I should and shouldnt say.
First things first. I am married /seperated (we live in the same house but seperate lives)
OH gives a small percentage towards the household bills and I am on a DMP. (With a firm who charge at the moment but hoping to change to CCCS)
I want to sort myself out financially and all other ways but know it will take time and patience.
This has not been a good weekend moneywise, have been to my parents which is 3 hours drive away so diesal used. Actually couldnt believe it was 1.24 in Suffolk, have managed 1.20 here in Kent.
OH is currently away seeing his new "friend" so have had a peaceful day.
I work in London so commute (long day leave house at 6.30 return 6.30-7.00), have just returned to work after 6 months off (long story for another time)
One thing I have done is to do an inventory of all cupboards, fridge and freezer. Also kept all receipts since payday and a spend diary. Almost feel I am becoming OCD.
Well I have waffled for a bit but will come on again tomorrow hope you all have a good week.

Dear Diary
I really dont know how to follow on each message so hope I am doing the right thing.
So today has been interesting.. another full day in a 3 day week.
OH came back from visiting his friend to tell me that she has given him his half of the holiday money and his parents are lending him his!!!
Grrrrrrr its not fair. Here is me trying to clear debts of £35k (not all mine) and he is buzzing off on holiday with her. Not just a holiday he is taking her near to where we went 4 years ago.
And what do I get... a bottle of wine if Im lucky!
I know I should transfer bills to his name but worried he wont pay.
Anyway have to stop feeling sorry for myself, I might get some money back from South Eastern re my season ticket so I might go away.
Think I have waffled enough, hope all are well

Dear All and Diary
Feel quite good as NSD today. Mind you tomorrow I am meeting up with an old friend and going to stay with a friend on Friday so not sure how I will do then as I will need diesal etc.
Have entered a few competitions today... you never know!
OH has paid for his holiday today and tomorrow needs to renew his passport. I told him he has to start giving me more money next month as all the bills have increased including the mortgage. It will be interesting as no doubt he will say he needs spending money!!
Anyway onwards and upwards

Hi, good luck on your new diary. Not really a nice situation with your OH.....he really should be paying his share of the debts.
Don't worry about waffling..........I do a lot of it. It helps to keep me motivated, and sometimes its good to get things off your chest and just have a really good rant/moan

Does anyone ever wonder how we got in this mess? I think I saw a post the other day which said it is so easy to get into debt and so hard to get out of it.... so true.

Dear Diary
Today has been a busy and not too bad a day. I did spend money in Asda but that was for things needed for the week (no nsd for lunch at work so thats good).
I also finished a gift for my friends baby boy who was born 6 weeks early, so will post that tomorrow.
Had hope to do lots of NSD this week but it is best friends bday so need to get her a small gift and we hope to have a little treat.
Have been productive as we had roast chicken for lunch so carcas is now in slow cooker bubbling away for stock and maybe even chicken soup base!
Have also done all the washing and ironing so time for a break soon. Have already started another cardigan for friends baby so will get on with that.
Hope everyone has a good week.
