    Hi NRA,

That's kind, knitting baby cardi's. I did quite a lot for my friends when they were pregnant, I find it really relaxing.

Just wanted to send you a hug cos you're in such a tough position at the moment.

I don't have any useful help sorry but I would seek some formal advice regarding your joint finances and bills etc as it sounds as if he's playing you badly at the moment. And thats no good for your mind or your pocket. It you that is important now, not him.

Hope you can get it resolved and well done on facing up to the finances and getting some help with the debts.

    Pen :)
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

    Hi,

Just thought i'd pop in and say hello, wishing you lots of luck in your new road ahead!

Can you list a statement of affairs or budget to see if any of us can help you out or make suggestions? Obviously personal to you so won't waffle but not sure why you are paying for ex's finances if he is moving on in his life with 'her'?? If they are in his name then let him deal with them!

Good luck on your journey x

    Hello NRA,

I am a newbie here to and yet to start a diary but just wanted to give you some moral support. Your situation sounds quite like mine, we made the debts together but all in my name so when we split, well, the rest is history.

Just wanted to say, when its all paid off, you can hold your head up high saying that it has been you who has taken control, managed and paid of your debts and made a fresh start. You have learned from life, can your ex-OH say the same?

Chin up, my DFD is 2015 which is yonks away and by then I will be 42 so getting a mortgage and buying a place will be pretty hard, but I cross that bridge when I get there.

    You are amongst friends here.

    Good morning Diary

Thank you Minnieme,Chocaddict and Taking control for your messages.

Well Im already in the office, feeling tired today. I put a thread on the os board the other day but as much as I had hoped to be really good with the housework each evening it has been tough this week.
Mind you it is my first full week back at work so perhaps I should be kind to myself.

Best friends bday today so have got her a small gift and will see her tonight.

OH is actually doing some more overtime today, not sure if it is because he wants spending money for his holiday or is taking notice of what I say about the bills!!!

Really must go through my daily money diary tonight and tot things up, Im sure I have spent way to much this month.

Hope eveyone has a good day.

    Hello Diary

Well it has been a busy day at work, managed to meet my Best friend briefly after work to give her a Bday pressie and card.

I have sat and made my money diary into an Excel spreadsheet tonight. I am running it from 21st of month to 20th of next month as I get paid on 21st.
I have split the columns into food, fuel and other.
I have surprised myself as I have been quite good on the food front ( I have said I would do £240.00 on the grocery challenge this month and I am under that. Fuel is fairly high as expected as my parents live in Suffolk so even with Diesal costs a bit to get there and I visited them over the Bank holiday.
However the "other column" is a bit worrying as it is higher than I realised. Having said that it does include things like a rotary dryer (trying not to use the Tumble dryer) so will tot up again next week before payday.

Have made a list tonight of all Bdays and anniversaries next month and will look on OS board and others for ideas for cards.

Had a bit of mad half hour when I got in, changed the bedding and put some washing on. So once I have finished on MSE will relax with a book for an hour before bed.

    Hope all are well.

    Dear Diary

I have had a great weekend catching up with old friends from my school days.

It is amazing the differant lives we have led.

Did not spend too much either which was good.

Have not been this happy for a long time but hope it will last a few days.

Hope everyone is well, will top up my budget later in the week.
