Hi Diary
Well I came in slighly under budget for my food shopping for the month so really pleased.
I need to be more careful in other areas this month and have already made my shopping list and meal plans to start on Sunday.
Have been very tired today so going to bed early tonight as the weekend will be busy.
Hope everyone is doing well.

Well Diary
I have not been around for a few days partly because I am seething GRRRRRRRRRR.
OH was supposed to have phoned his bank last week about a problem I had sorted out for him and what do I discover last night, he hasnt even phoned them to discuss the problem and they will now be deducting money from his account tomorrow.
He says he will go to the bank on Saturday to sort it out but it is not good enough.
He keeps doing this, last weekend he was supposed to be selling his car to a chap who drove a long way to see it. I had been saying for weeks that he should turn the car over to keep the battery going...but no he knew best.
So when the chap arrives the car wont start and when it does the alarm kept going.
So the upshot is he still hasn't sold his car, which is supposed to be funding his holiday in 4 weeks with his new lady friend and Im wondering how the hell to get through this month with the bills.
Well diary thats me throwing my rattle out of my pram, I do feel better for it.
On a positive front I am dog ssitting for a friend from Thursday for 2 weeks so that should help my excercise regime. Also i did a big cook off on Sunday which considering it was 28 degrees was no mean feat.
I hope everyone else is enjoying the sunshine and doing ok.

Hello Diary
well it has been a while although I have been on other parts of the forum.
OH has finally sold his car, but not for as much as he hoped.
He has updated his tomtom for his French holiday £59.00, booked 2 weeks AA cover for Europe £123.00
and has now decided his car needs a new cam belt and other jobs £700.00, oh and he wants spending money (he has said £1,000.00 but may take £500.00 for first week).
You are probably wondering if I am a mad woman who is writing all this so calmly but actually I am so cross. He originally said he would give me money towards a change of car as mine is too big and I am looking to make some savings, it now looks very unlikely I will get any money.
I am also upset as I am strugging to make the bills meet and he is going away for 2 realxing weeks in the South of France.
A part of me knows I should just get angry and demand he gives me money but to be honest I almost feel too tired to argue just lately.
Still I am enjoying having my friends dog for 2 weeks, she is so good and very loving. Another plus is Im getting more excercise.
Hope everyone is enjoying the good weather.

Dear Diary
I cannot believe it has been 17 months since I last wrote here, I have not been away from the site in fact I log on every day I just didn't get round to posting!:o:o
So where am I 17 months down the line, still in debt yes.
I did move to Payplan last year after a year with a fee paying DMP company which was good and I am slowly (very slowly) making some headway in my quest to be debt free.
Some good news is that this year I became a grandmother for the first time to an adorable grandson who gives me a good reason to sort my life out.
I am still in the same home situation which continues to be difficult. My ex still does not seem to care about the debt situation ( he has his own debts) and I still seem to try to sort out his as well as my own accounts each month.
I know to some this is ridiculous but if I didn't the situation would only get much worse.
I still see my darling friend although not as often as I would like but hopefully next year things will improve.
In the new year I am making some changes to ensure that I actually have some money to live on from month to month
and try to put some away for me.
I was quite proud of myself this week as I managed to save £10.00 a month on my phone contract, get more minutes and a new phone to boot (still trying to learn all the gizmos lol) not totally MSE I know but still good for me.:)
Well this is brief after such a long absence but I will try to post more often.

Well Diary I have been out and about today.
I read a diary by Nora this morning and felt very inspired. After watching the Cenotaph ceremony I went into town to buy Christmas gifts for my Best friends 2 little boys. She moved away last year but they are back for visit soon so wanted to get them so she can take them with her.
After reading Nora's diary I have decided to get out the knitting needles again and try to make a few home made gifts in time for Christmas.
Came home and cooked dinner and after Xfactor (sad I know especially as it is so bad this year) I have promised myself a relaxing bath.
A busy week ahead at work but will try to make some "me" time and get some DFW stuff done.
Catch up later

Hi Lemon Tree
Thank you for your reply, I didn't actually get my peaceful bath time, hopefully later in the week.
Today was a busy day in the office as always.
Felt a real fool earlier, had arranged to link my online savings account with a new bank account only to realise I don't have a cheque book doh!!
Anyway called the bank and they said to talk to one of their departments tomorrow to see what they can do.:)
This is all part of my big plan for the New Year to be better organised!!!
Out tomorrow to a dinner being paid for by work, but wont be home too late I hope (need my beauty sleep)
Hope all are well and coping with this yuck weather
