Nobody will touch you until you have been discharged.
Then its sub prime all the way until at least 6 years have elapsed and the bankruptcy disappears from your credit files.0 -
The Credit scores Are pretty meaningless Really. Different lenders Have their own way of calculating Scores.0

I was Discharged a year after I was Bankrupt. Does this mean I have to wait until 2013 until I get a credit card ?0 -

No don't mean you can't get a credit card just means for the next 3 years you will have to have high interest credit cards, then after that dont really know much about being bankrupt, not quite sure once you have been bankrupt that any lender would touch you aint got a clue mate..0 -

Are you still BR ..? If you are forget the whole idea as your BR can't have been a straight forward case if you got three years. I was BR in 2007 and got AD in 2008. Managed to get car finance in DEC 2008 then a mobile broadband ACC with orange in JAN 2009 but I had been with them for 12 years. Could not get a CC with any sub-prime providers untill last week, then Vanquis said yes on the second application.0 -
Why do you want a credit card? Surely the point of BR is to wipe out your debts and not get into debt again?Gone ... or have I?0

Yes....I was Discharged in 2008 ... I've been approved for virgin boardband. And I've had a vodaphone contract since 2006 with out a miss payment. Could I ask why was the second time you applied you where approved? Also could I ask how much you where approved on the Vanquis?0
