But its also too short not to feel passionate. I have perservered to try and like fennel, and while I don't love it I can stand to eat it now (I even quite like it as a salad with oranges). That ''curry sauce'' that some people have on chips I am content to let my bigotry surrounding remain.

I kind of love and hate this forum.

Yes, positive emotions and passion are good. I don't think you 'hate' the forum, you're more likely frustrated with yourself for coming back to it when a large proportion of it is bear and bull sniping.

When it's intelligent banter, it's fun, but all too often it's not, it's became predictable.

Yeah, that's probably it. I do hate some of the ugliness sometimes spouted here though.

In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

    Mercifully nothing.

My 2 DDs are huge Top Gear fans, though, unaccountably, and I could hardly think of a less suitable role model than jc if I tried.

I hate that a party political broadcast on tv right now has an actor: how is it an ACTOR who played a wrong side of the law rogue is deemed more credible than the party...and that one of the things said in defense of the party is...''they're not perfect...''. How terribly bleak.

Can we have am OT I hate thread? I think it might be a useful venting tool!

CAn I also add I hate house hunting? Its just FAR too emotionally draining now!

The now show on radio 4 had a summary of outcomes:

    Vote red - get blue
    Vote blue - get green
    Vote green - see red
