    Happy Birthday Triker!

Not much doing here today, not any further on really than I was yesterday. Its "pals" day at my house today so the boys get a friend round after school/nursery so you can imagine! I've spent the day picking up toys, standing on toys, wiping sticky marks off. Ooh and to top it off my eldest stood in dog poo, and then walked through the house! Argghhhh!!!!!

Anyway, have given the Living Room, Porch, Kitchen and Bathroom a once over since supper time, so maybe more tomorrow. Hope everyone is well.

I had a lovely message from Toots after I asked to be put back on the list, and I would just like to apologise to everyone who gave me birthday wishes mid April. I haven't been on much since early March due to a family bereavement etc, and therefore did not see your kind birthday wishes, so thank you very much, a bit late but thanks anyway. xxxx

no.. because even if they all voted for the party that came second in their area it would not have been enough to make the difference sway the other way.. there were about 100 people unable to vote at my mothers polling station after queueing for ages and it closed.

AND.. proportional representation would mean the same percentage would vote for the different parties.. so the results would be the same..whether 100 people voted or 1000..

    it's quiet in here...

Just finishing off a bit of work. I've been shopping for baking stuff as I have a 21st birthday cake to make tomorrow morning, plus housewarming cupcakes for my brother, and stuff for work and my old team on Monday.

Stopping working to go shopping was a mistake as a. I now realise how tired I am and b. although I now have food in the house, it means I ate rubbish rather than figuring out how to make cottage cheese and carrots into an apptetising meal.

I'd love a lie in tomorrow but I have SO much to do!!!

for all the birthday wishes, you made me feel really special...:grinheart

Myself and hubby went to rievaulx abbey for a day out. Fantastic day. My secret other profession was to be an archeologist and it was great exploring and imagining the past.

Then a meal out with the girls and hubby and then home for a cake and how I didn't pass out blowing out all them candles I'll never know.:rotfl:

I got some great pressies too, hubby got me a huge bunch of flowers, I got a sparkley encrusted mouse for the 'puter....:rotfl:, a necklace, a cookery book, a pandora charm and some wine....I was spoilt.:)

Anyway, my head thinks its saturday...all confuzzled....flying wise I have put my make-up away and instead of flinging my clothes everywhere I have picked them up, folded some, bunged others in wash and even put my boots downstairs back on the shoe rack...I must be ill or summat.:rotfl:
