jinky - I am guilty on the oven one atm, I do have some astonish form when Dusty last suggested it and really should try it.

PP - good to see you back. Are all your new hens laying yet? My older two have stopped (or are doing them somewhere very cunning!) and one of the new ones has just started. 7 chickens = 3 eggs this week so no cake here.

I spent this morning with my DH - a rare few child free hours for us which has been lovely. I have since hoovered downstairs, put the WM and DW on but other than that we are quietly sinking into building site mess and CHAOS.

Trying to decide where the line falls between MSE recycling wrapping/packing stuff and hoarding stuff you will never use (mainly because you have forgotten you saved it)

Mudders~~ just be careful of vista print, I used them and the next thing I know they are charging me £9.95 or so per month, to belong to their club, had a battle to get the money back, but there was at the time a thread on this site some where about them.

    Afternoon all

Today's list is done. We went and voted about 8am while it was quiet (and knowing DH wouldn't bother after work without me to push him). Not much else going on, going to catch up a bit now.

Note to self - if would have been a good idea to where long sleeves when removing miscanthus! They are being rehomed and once I've prunned the hedge rather harshly I'll have a big space for sunflowers and sweetcorn.

Too tired to do anymore so going to bake some muffins.

    Hello!

I'm back again - did you miss me? :rotfl:

Why did I vanish? Omigosh. It seems such a long time....

Well... first I hit one of those troughs when you think that you will scream and hiss and faint in coils if you pick up one more duster and clean anything ever again..... So the weather was nice, and I decided to give myself a break from trying to clean AND garden at the same time, and I went and spent a whole week getting my veggies sown and my veggie patch dug, and my greenhouse sorted and my flower beds weeded. And I didn't do a thing indoors. And very nice it was, too!

Then, just as I thought that I would get stuck in again to the cleaning, DD was admitted very, very suddenly to have her appendix whipped out... she was mulberry coloured and screaming at the time, so it seemed like a good idea!

She's nearly been off school a fortnight now, and is going back next Monday with any luck, so I shan't have to be nurse, playmate, attendant, picker-up-of-stuff-because-I-can-bend-down-and-she-can't, sock-putter-on, drug-dispenser etc etc etc any more.

HOWEVER On the same day as DD goes back to school, I have my BigSister arriving to stay for 4 days, and the house is a TIP having been neglected for three weeks.... So I've found the lists again, and I've done a couple already ... and now I'm needing inspiration because I'm flagging! :o

See how quickly you get out of condition when you don't keep up the cleaning every week? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So I'm going to post what I've done so far, then head upstairs and see if I can tackle the bedroom. Bedding was changed at the weekend, so that's a good start.

It's great to be back, Ladies.... But Oh Lordy! what a lot of cleaning I've got to do......

    MissH
