Oh I am flagging! End of the working week and I am zapped, coupled with all the flying and walking as OH as the car...pooped central!! Dinner has been done and troughed, sarnies and clothes done for tomorrow though.
I am going to do a HHC from 5.30-6 if anyone fancies joining me0 -
Good point, which I shall mention to Mr LW; however, I just checked on the original, and our address isn't on there, just his name, the car reg no and "insured and spouse" iyswim.
...just thinking about this LW....even if you have the insurance doc, nowadays they only go by the database on the computer...but at least if you have the document with you, you don't have problems remembering which insurance company you are with :cool:I'm not so tired & not so desperate..... mainly thanks to MSEso just call me Notso.....
Yes, I'm juggling and I might drop some.... but at least I'm trying

Actually, it's got me thinking.... I have to try and get in a bit of driving at some point. It's so easy to go with the "default" of Mr LW driving, so I haven't driven for months! If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon all
I am sorry that I have not caught up on the thread as I felt awful since going to Lincoln for my X ray - took absolutely ages and I was in loads of pain sine then. It becomes a bit of a cycle as when the pain increases I take more pain killers and then become completely zonked out. So yesterday evening and today I have done nothing but sleep and sit..... feel so cross with myself. It didn't help that work rang tryng to get me to remember about a case from 2008 and conversations from then and 2009. I had so many tablets that I just couldn't remember. I apparently screwed up and so spent a relatively sleepless night worrying. I have phoned in today and confirmed that I can't remember anymore than is already in my notes. I am sure that they should not be chasing me when I am signed off sick but still.
Felt a little better this afternoon so I have- voted - cheated and drove to the village hall
- completed child benefit form and posted
- completed National Insurance form and posted
- Wrote card for XMIL who recently fell and broke her hip - and posted
- Sent cheque for DS - it was a Christmas present - oops but I only found it at the weekend.
MeNovember NSD 1/10Weight loss - 7lbs from the 41 I need to loose = 34 to go0 -
Evening campers, sun is shining and it's a beautiful evening with a slight wind.
Have spent a lovely afternoon with my friend, unfortunately the two foster children she was expecting have not turned up - they have basically run away from their foster home as they don't want to go to T's place. She's not that bothered as it is up to their social worker to track them down although she doesn't want them turning up at midnight looking for a bed
Well it looks like AF is going to appear after all, phew I can breathe a sigh of relief thankfully, which I am pleased about. I was starting to get a bit worried I can tell you..
Just watching a bit of Stargate Atlantis then have the sausages and veg to prepare for dinner. We are having turkey and chilli sausages, boiled buttered potatoes, steamed veg and asparagus in hollandaise sauce. Think I might stew some rhubarb to have with some ice cream for pudding
Hugs methekidsandcat

Well, it took until 5:10 to clean up my bedroom, but it looks lovely now.
Didn't quite follow Pigpen's list, as I needed to clean rather than declutter, so my list went something like this:
Clean Master Bedroom
[STRIKE]15 minutes floordrobe clearance
Take all ornaments off surfaces and wipe
Hoover ceiling, beams and skirtings using extension hose
Sticky mitt surfaces & make sure no cobwebs
Hoover lampshades
Replace ornaments
Vacuum floors in bedroom and dressing room
Clean all the bedroom door frames and white wood
Clean windows and mirrors[/STRIKE]
All done now, so I'm sitting down with a cuppa.
Thanks for all the good wishes for DD: the scar is now healing quite well, and she is coming off the painkillers, so we should make it back to school on Monday. No games for another 2-4 weeks, though (how pleased can one child get? :rotfl: She is not sporty!); and she's having a bit of difficulty straddling her cello...:( (which *is* making her miserable - exam and big audition coming up....)
MissH

DON'T READ IF YOU'RE EATING
Urgh!!!! Ds2 just blocked the toilet using too much paper and then flushed. I tried using a bit of old shower rail which didn't work, so i sent Ds1 in the garden to get a stick. I tried that but for some reason Ds2 wanted to go out too and started screaming just as i put the stick in causing me to jump and cover myself and the floor in a mixture of watery poo and wee:eek::mad::eek: and snapping the stick in the process. So there was only one thing for it, i had to stick my hand down there.:( It's clear now and i've disinfected everywhere and scrubbed myself raw in the shower.0
