Right! Need to get motivated...had a less than successful week keeping up last week. Managed daily quick tidies but not any of the lists...failed in only my second week in!
Couldn't keep up with the ironing either as Iron broke, went and bought new one and that kept tripping the electrics. Need to try and fit in complaining in next few days as we are all looking crumpled!
I did however get to the tip with all the old electricals that have accumulated in the house....got rid of 3 TVs, 2 Video Recorders, A dismantled computer and monitor, stereo system , 2 other dead irons and a drill!
How do you clean and tidy the Sitting Room with a body sitting in his chair watching old 80's TV programmes? Not a good start to this week!0 -

With the hoover mostly. Round and round his chair till he gives up and does something useful. Keep making him lift his feet and re-doing the same spot. Make him stand up so you can hoover the seat. Wait till he sits down and fetch baby wipes/fabreeze or whatever then get him to stand up again so you can clear the seat. Mine lasts about 3 minutes before he strops off and does something else. Open all the windows so it is too cold for him to come back. Play bad music to clean to (works well with teenagers). Dust the electrics and change channel lots of times. Polish the tv screen and leave big streaks. Talk loudly the whole time.
Need I go on?
Happy Birthday Mags-cat and Solway if you are lurking
Hugs for Froddington

Take that TV to the tip as well
or possibly just the body in the chair... after all you might want to watch the TV yourself after you've finished your flying...
He has some good points but days like this I long to take the body in the chair to the tip.....He's off all week too!
He doesn't garden, DIY or have hobbies so I will be driven mad when I am not out at work.
I will probably start my Fly week in one of the other rooms from last weeks list.....although I was considering packing junk in car and doind a boot fair that starts at 1pm....but weather is chilly and looks distinctly iffy!
Maybe I'll just suggest we go for lunch somewhere! It is a Bank Holiday after all.0 -
I'm in this week, although a bit sporadically as I am being Florence Nightingale and Taxi driver to a friend and her children - my friend who lives in the village. Poor lass she cut her hand open by falling on a smashed glass jam jar. She had to have hand surgery and is totally incapicitated. Can't wash up, can't pick things up etc.. so you can imagine. Anyway I am around there most days next week either hoovering/cooking/washing up or picking her children up after school. She's also got two foster children arriving for 4 days in the week as well, yikes!!!! That's also why I wasn't around at the end of last week..
I'm fine at least it takes my mind off my worrying and fretting..lol.
Hugs to LL, I'll text you later hon.
Hugs Toots, Diva and Jinks
