    Morning all

I'm in again, thanks to everyone involved in the thread. Happy Birthday, mags! Hope you have a lovely day. :bdaycake:
Sunny and bright here, so far, but it could well change. Looks like I'd better make a start outside, before we're rained off again. DH has planned to paint the fence today, once he's up. He bought one of those sprayer things, as there's an awful lot of fence to do...

Mumto5 - DS1 (15) started smoking at Christmas and lied at first. He still won't tell me why he started and does not seem to want to stop, either. I'm gutted, as that was once thing I was never worried about, because he was always so against it. DH had a heart attack at 45 due to smoking, and it hasn't helped MIL's health either, who DS1 is really close to. I've accepted that I can't make him stop, but I avoid giving him cash for anything if I can. He has been told not to smoke in front of DS2 and DH keeps his cigs out of the way, just in case. I would tell him not to smoke in his room, but I can't ensure that he sticks to it (poor sense of smell, and his room's in the loft - he could have the window open and I wouldn't know). My only concession has been to buy a small metal bucket and some sand for a pub-style ashtray. My parents and first BF smoked, but I've never been tempted. I do bring the topic up every now and then to let him know that I'll support him if and when he wants to give up. Not much else I can do, I think. Hope you have more luck.

2nd cuppa and breakfast now, then I'll make a start. It took me a while to come round (and catch up with the threads) after our night out.

Morning all, lovely and sunny here but f£cking freezing wind, especially when your hanging out wet washing! Can hardly type now my hands are that freezing! Wouldn't mind but they are DD1's clothes, but left to her they would go in the TD and that ain't happening on a fab drying day. Stripped our bed and in the washer as we speak. Managed to sort out the bedroom yesterday for DD1 and went shopping for sanitary towels (thanks Piggers), they have allways on offer at boots for only a pound a go, so stocked up for her. The cheapest breast pads in there were £4, which I thought was dear, but there again I haven't bought any for 19 years!

Aahh Jinkypooooo my lovely, hope you Gran isn't in too much pain, love to you both xx
Sexym - what a stunning dress, bet you look beautiful in it!

Haven't heard from my boy now since friday, trying not to get myself wound up, they can shut the internet out there if somebody is injured or killed so that they can inform the family first, before anybody posts anything. Hope no news is good news. Sorry for moaning again, just need to hear from him

Hope you all have a fab day. Love and hugs all round xx
