Forgot to say huge hugs to froddy, carlsberg, LL, diva, FFP and anyone else who is having a tough time. Also a bit confused as to whose birthday it is today, so please have a :bdaycake: and heaps of good wishes if it's yours. x

    Afternoon all,

Happy Birthday Mags, i hope you have a great day.

We've been for a bike ride which almost killed me as i had Ds2 on the back of my bike in his seat. He weighs over 3st. We've just had lunch and are waiting for OH to come over so we can go for a walk. I suppose i should wash up the lunch dishes before we go and put the Bm on for pizza dough.

Thanks for your words of wisdom Toots, his dad is classed as his next of kin, so he will hear first and I'm such a silly mare that I keep expecting to call at ours any minute, bonkers I know.

Well I've done an hours worth of ironing, put it all away and remade the bed. Think it's time for some lunch.

Happy birthday FFP - oops should I mean prettypennies? Heads a shed so sorry for the mix up1

Ok so I have got carried away and have been doing my HHC for almost an hour, lol but I have found loads of bits and pieces I had forgotten about and I'm going to use some of them to decorate my dining table :)
Well I have another half hour of de-cluttering the dresser before it's finished so off I go :) (might have a sneaky cuppa first - oh I'll compromise and drink it while I de-clutter :) ) Then I must feed my little monkeys :)
    Catch you later,

Also - I can't believe that at last I am actually enjoying this de-cluttering thing :) I suppose once you get going it gets better :)

Good Afternoon everyone. Hope all is well. I'm in this week. Just got back from our weekend away, to find the washing machine not working. DH got it fixed as it was a leaky intake pipe at the back, but forgot to switch off the mains at the back. So all I heard was 'HEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPP!!!' - After mopping up a flooded kitchen, I am now going to attempt to make a start.

    My list for today:

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level One
Open the windows and turn on some music!
Dust/polish grubby glass and mirrors and pictures.
Declutter the chairs, floor and fireplace
    Level Two
Vacuum the floor now it is visible
Pile all hotspots into one heap and sort through it all.. File/shred as appropriate
Clean and defluff the fire.. arrange for chimneys to be swept if necessary and services!
    Level Three
Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
    Wipe sofas and dusty places
HHC in the hallway.. sort those coats and shoes and mess!! Clear out handbags and schoolbags!

    Extras
    1. Freshen up any soft furnishings
    2. Binbag dance... grab a bag fill it and fling it!
    3. Check insurance policies/tax/mot etc to see when the renewals are up!
    4. Wipe the woodwork in these areas
    My Extras:
    Unpack and do washing.
    Ironing
    Sort school stuff for tomorrow.

MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm I think I need lunch first and a nice cuppa!!

    See you later
    XxX

Housework only gets noticed when it's not done.
My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them.
Can never keep up with the thread - otherwise I'll never get anything done! But hugs to All :grouphug:
    XxX
