I think Kaz & Quillion have just about covered it! Sandringham itself isn't that exciting apparently... there's lots of nice walking along the coast too.

Rubble has been taken to the tip, cake delivered and the third batch of cupcakes is in the oven. Tomorrow we have to do the guttering on the shed, and my dad is apparently going to do the mowing. He's tidied the shed nicely, put up hooks and sharpened the mower blade. We're going to my brother's new house for lunch, so I'll take some cupcakes, then come back and finish the rest before doing some flying and preparing for another week of work!

Hopefully I can get an early night tonight though... I think my dad is tired too, which makes it a bit easier :p

back from Wisbech and laddo not home until tomorrow.

DH is home and the heating is now back on, I so wanted to be good for both the pocket and the environment but when your wearing 3 fleeces and need gloves in the house you have to give up on it.

Came home to a lovely hot tea from some leftovers I'd thrown into the Remoska so thats all munched and cleared away.

My arms are getting longer carrying shopping. Have tried an online home shop from Tescos, but the guy was rude to me ( He shouted from the doorstep that I was taking too long to unpack the goods from the trays and that he didn't have all day to hang around in)....this has made me not want to spend any more money with them.

Other than that all is well in Norfolk, save for the continual rain:D
I agree with the others - huge stinking complaint needs to go in, and yes I'm fed up with the rain too.

Ah yes I'd forgotten that, we went in the first week it opened and it was heaving but we met the owner/writer of the book. Its very good for the younger child but a bit further Norwich way.

Kings Lynn also has The Old Gaol House and Trues Yard

Am now going to sit down in front of the TV with a drink and a mag as I'm at work again tomorrow afternoon :( and I will probably be doing some more in DD's room tomorrow

Does anyone know why my ankles are hurting when I have been painting most of the afternoon?... Why do they hurt and not my arms or wrists or hands?

We are getting the wallpapering done tonight so it is done.. and then tomorrow we have a couple of coats of emulsionto whizz through.. shouldn't take too long.

Monday morning the bedding is going in the WM and the cupboards etc are being moved to the girls room and I am SOOOOOOOOOOO excited about my carpet.. I've never had a new bedroom carpet!!

  • Well - decluttered one 65 mile train journey for a Day School for science.

It did not bode well when the morning tutor tried to explain to the group some algebra, but when he got it completely wrong, apologised and admitted that he is dyslexic and has no idea whatsoever what to do. But thanks to *someone* :A, the people struggling in the group were OK once it was explained/demonstrated properly. Not sure how that happened, but it just makes sense to me..

Anyway, after 3 hours of stuff I actually understood already (and a vending machine out of everything except salt 'n' vinegar Walkers and fruit Polos - no breaktime KitKat ), the afternoon tutor turned up and started talking about this week's work and the end of course assessment. Which was sounding suspiciously easy.

Just have massive computer marked test and End of Course Assessment to do - they said 4 GIANT questions over 17 pages, I thought 'more like 5 pages of 7 small questions each, and 12 pages of blank spaces and pretty pictures'. Not quite so scary then!

Oh, and the acoustics coursework from the other unit I'm doing, which is largely physics based, is due in at the same time.

And I have my driving theory test this Tuesday morning.

Flying? More like the occasional half hearted flap interspersed with copious volumes of coffee and lots of convenience meals.

To the person who blanked at fishing: (sorry, forgotten who it was, have a few things to think about at the mo :) - Magscat, perhaps?)

Are the fish spawning at the mo? I'm pretty sure the Pike and Perch have already started, because they are some of the first when the water temperature picks up, even though everything was put back by the cold Spring. Bream, Roach and Rudd tend to start in mid May. You might have more luck with the Tench, because they usually start in June/July and Carp need a period of about 18 degrees C to get the eggs ready for spawning before they kick off.

Or you could go a couple of days before the New Moon on the 14th, they might have their last feed up before spawning then... And it would also depend on the baits you are using - I find red casters are quite good when the water's a bit cold for maggot drowning - and whether you've been unlucky enough to be fishing two days after a match, when they've completely stuffed themselves on boilie bits and groundbait/attractant and all the cpra the pole guys throw in the water....

[Did I just say all that out loud? :D]

    Back to the science books!
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    Evening all

Today has gone to plan so far, apart from flying. :o DS2 and I went out to pay for the playhouse, then shopping at Aldi and B&M (got 3 70l bags of compost for £10 - that should keep me going for a bit). Playhouse delivered and will be put up on Tuesday. The same very capable man is also going to move our old shed to make space for the playhouse. Can't afford a new, bigger one after the car repair bill and money will be very tight until payday in 18 days (not that I'm counting :().
DS2 enjoyed the party and tea for everyone else has been sorted, with minimal cooking required. :D I will try to get on with some jobs in a bit, but I think it's time to see if the female GP is back from maternity leave. Lack of exercise doesn't help and I know my diet could be better, but I'm not sure that's the only reason for my lack of energy. Talking to her can't hurt.

Tomorrow we need to clear the two broken plastic sheds, sort through DS2's outdoor toys and tidy the last area outside that's full of carp. Not sure what to do with the old garden bench. Might stick it on freegle later, as it's not in a good condition at all. Other than that, it's washing and school work. The house will just have to wait (again), but at least I'll be smiling everytime I look outside. Just wish we could have the warm weather back, as this miserable cold is getting me down.

:T for all flyladies who have worked hard today and hugs to those not feeling too good. Hope your weekend is a good one.
