Hehehe - if there's a "Refer a friend" link I shall try and put everyone down! I've done one load with the new powder and it smells lovely - will have to see if that smell stays after it's dried.

    Afternoon everyone.

Ive been out most of today but did a quick S&S before I went. Shopping at Mr As then went to see mum. Her legs are so much better now. She had a smoke but I had to help her put it in her mouth. Speech is very poor as well. We had a couple of games of dominoes with me playing both hands but explaining to her. It made her laugh when I was knocking and she won. Went to DDs for a cuppa then came back up home. I will finish the bedroom tomorrow and just potter on today.

    juliejim Congratulations on your win.

Hugs for everyone specially Toots, Lady L and Diva.

I've done the dishes by hand which needed doing and rest in DW. I'm now about half way through the worktops, i didn't realise there was so much crap.
WM on again, load number 4.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Greenbee - thinking of visiting Sandringham in the summer, what else is there locally which is worth a visit (kid friendly)

Going to do a HHC in the family room before starting dinner.

DH has gone to buy the posts and wires for the front garden.

We think we are going to need a new water main put in re the leak and it could be what is making the garage floor damp.

    Hello all.

I've read, but not retained anything. Not having a good day at all - the lupus is giving me a hard time today; weak as a day-old kitten, and keep feeling icky.:(
Mr LW had to do the weekly greengrocery run on his own this morning; he's also changed the bed without being asked.:A

Edited to add: Got back to a heavy parcel sitting by my front door - odd...hadn't ordered anything recently. It's two boxes of free washing powder that I have agreed to trial and answer some survey questions about - there's at least a month's worth of powder - very :money:. The notes say I have to use the powder for a fortnight then they will send me more stuff to compare it with. Hoorah for free stuff!
I had some of that arrive today, too. Will be trying it out on the bedlinen tonight (I usually set the machine to come on overnight - cheaper leccy).

Yes! life's too short to be cold in your own house. Just put it on for a bit just to take the edge off. I currently have mine on but I do have a north-easterly bitter wind howling through the oh so fabulous, broken, prefab walls :(
I agree - with an autoimmune condition, the last thing I need is to be freezing cold. Ours is on the whole time, but on a thermostat to that it kicks in when the temperature drops.

    Juliejim congrats on the win!

Carlsberggal still sending stay safe vibes for Danny; I can empathise - many moons ago I was engaged to a soldier, who was in N.I during the Troubles.

I'm sure there was more I should reply to; sorry, brain's gone muzzy again. Think I'll have a lie-down and see if I feel a bit better. At least I've managed to kick off a tomato loaf in the BM, so at least done something useful today.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Lamewolf - the more I hear about Mr LW the more I think you have a good one there :A
    jinky - show off :p
juliejim - woo hoo, well done. I never, ever win anything
kazm - very cold today, we have the woodburner on for the same reason

Apologies to anyone I missed, very tired again so skimming mostly.

DW has been on three times, WM twice, kitchen and loo S&S'd. Lovely DH is plastering the new bathroom while I soaadfa. Novel experience, I really don't like it but I am quite frankly shattered. Glad I put the slow cooker on, and iced the chocolate cake this morning or we would be having takeaway yet again.
