Hang on to that thought, greenbee. Remember how disheartened you were after your first trip 'across the pond'?.
Good point... these things just take time I guess. I think I'm finally getting the hang of it, and getting to know people well enough to feel part of a team. Hope you feel better sooN!

Greenbee, you've got a lot on haven't you! Goodness me - baking a cake for 14 - wow!
It's a 10" square, 8 egg mix and that'll have to do... I might cut it down to a 9.5" round depending on how it looks later... And yes, I've got a lot on... so I'm not really achieving anything!

My dad is here now, so stuff will start to be done :D

I think it will be about this time next year too.. but 2 years is the longest they are allowed to leave it.. all parties best get out and do some serious grovelling though as the 'no confidence' voting this time says a huge amount.. noone is good enough to run the country! I think the 'opinion polls' should be banned as they sway public opinion and the nitty gritty should be circulated in 'idiot' format so everyone can understand what each party is proposing..

I love it for lunch dinner and supper as well.. :D

Carpet purchased for the bedroom.. it is being fitted Monday afternoon so we have today and tomorrow to get 3-4 coats of emulsion on and 5 strips of wallpaper!! It is gorgeous.. thick long hairy pile carpet to lose hair pins and earrings in!

I am so excited... then I can start looking at duvet covers.. My cream one will look ok BUT my 'spare' is black and grey and will look silly.
