swan - anstruther fish and chips..... mmmmmmmmm. You should come to the next homegame, it's so much fun. All the bands play in tiny little venues and there is a tea room with tea and scones on proper china. Love it!

it sounds great :) when is it?

I lived in Kirriemuir in Angus for a couple of years & they have a music festival that was good fun, I remember one of the local ironmongers still being open at 7.30 because a band had wandered in, started playing & gathered an audience who didn't want to move :D
Good point Swan - I have no sensible ideas - but I was named after Miss Hepburn but I'm afraid I look nothing like her.

I live about a mile and a half from the Palace so even parking @ ma wee hoose would leave you a bit of a walk (although it's what we are going to do so we can socialise if the mood takes us ) but if you're stuck, the offer's there.
hmmm, two name choices then

if I do make it over, it'll be by publictransport, but I appreciate the offer of parking :)

lucky you living so close, walking's definitely more flexible than driving though ;)

PS: I've got unhung doors sitting upstairs, I'm sure we took them off for a reason, but it is lost in the mists of time.
I had a carpet laid in my hallway, not realising that I'd need to take off 4 of the 7 doors to accomodate it :(
the only one that went back on the same night was the 'front' door, otherwise it would have been just a curtain between me & the outside world
I also need to dye my hair desperately.
I've just cut my fringe myself because my hairdresser's off on holiday, & I've messed it up :( I don't know whether to try & fix it or not, I might end up with that Joan Of Arc look :rotfl:

'how will we recognise Swan?' ... just look out for the plump old lady with the incongruous trendy Joan Of Arc hair, & the daughter trying to look as though she's not with her :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm going to wear my strappy Sketchers, will definitely be Crocs though if I go to the Big Tent thing :D

I will be wearing my black jacket and probably beige trousers and in the right lapel I will be wearing a large nappy pin with small pins hanging from it...one for each OS meet so far if I can count that high and find that many pins!

Feetwise, I will be wearing my fitflops or whatever they are called....most comfortable things I've had for years!

Jackie....sent you my cell phone number in a pm, should you not see me at Prestwick....flight due in at 09.05, so assume I will get through by 09.30/.45 If you can't meet me it is not a problem as I can get myself to KelvinGrove if necessary...I'm honestly not as thick as I look!
