Following on from Csarina's thread about an East Coast meet, there are many of us who could "do" Glasgow or hereabouts. I thought I would facilitate this.

Meanmarie has booked her plane, so we have agreed Tuesday July 6th. We are meeting at the bandstand in Kelvingrove for a picnic anytime between 12noon and 1ish, or if its raining (lets face it, its Glasgow!) we'll meet at the galleries carpark entrance and the tourists can get some Kulture at the Galleries, then 6pm @ Soho for dinner and cocktails

All welcome, the more the merrier, new and old! :D

So far we have;

Me s/Lanarkshire
Meanmarie Kildare via Prestwick
Jexygirl Loch Eck
Stroppyjock Inverness? please confirm stroppy, I can't remember
Nopottopin
wssla00
Zippychick ;)Belfast? also via Prestwick
niccatw
swan east coast but we'll let you away with it!
Hieveryone hopefully her nose will bother her so much she'll have no choice!
Souk08 .
Rummer
disdisbiff

Come on over!

July sounds good for me, especially first half....weekday probably cheaper flights

    Marie

Looking at flights, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th would be best days.

I will be able to decide what day suits me tomorrow. Shall we do a wee poll, or just guess? Which one's the cheapest Marie?

I am so tempted by this one. Like Marie, I'm only a short flight away and it would give me the oportunity to see HariboJunkie and rope her into the meet too. Unfortunately it's our silver wedding anniversary on the 5th so I don't think that week would suit, but if there is another west coast meet I'll do my best to make it.
