Hello, I only popped up on OS forum yesterday to say hello (usually frequent DFW) and Meanmarie mentioned the meet to me... since I'm in Glasgow and I happen to be on annual leave that week, with no plans on the Tuesday, it's be rude not to :D.

How about Culzean Castle? It's near Prestwick. Mind you, I only ever go out of season... do they charge for visitors this time of year? If so, no tso MSE :)

Anyway, I should be curled up and aslepp right now, so I'll try to pop back at a more sensible time :).

I somehow missed that others had posted on here inbetween times. It will cost to go to Culzean then, we should think about somewhere free or cheap. What about Kelvingrove? The park's lovely, the Art Galleries are free if the weather's carp, and the area is nice for a wander round the shops. Onlt suggesting the city as it may be more central, particularly for the non drivers like Jinky. Good news is that zippychick might be almost persuaded to come too! :T

I will update the front page with names of who's coming, and if your name's not down, please shout louder. Of course anyone else who fancies it is still welcome, that won't be a final list!

Newish to this but I'd love to meet some OS folks. Probably be working all day but if some of you are around in the evening then it would be great to meet. I live and work City Centre but can go somewhere else if it's easier.

that sounds good, I've never been to Kelvingrove but my daughter (who's living in Glasgow just now) tells me it's lovely :)

Course you can, the more the merrier! As we don't know what we are doing yet, I'll add your name to page one and you can keep an eye on the thread!

Swan, it would be good to see you there!

So, any thoughts on Kelvingrove? What do we think?

Kelvin Grove sounds good to me, only because a cousin in Australia lives on a farm of the same name....really I am leaving arrangements to those of you who know where you are going
