Has anybody used car-rental-hire dot co dot uk
(sorry not allowed to post actual link in message body...but see title!)
UK Company name:- 5th Gear Ltd

They do UK + Abroad car hire and appear to be a broker for the big names.
I found a deal with them for Europcar which was £100 less than booking direct.
However, contact details for their UK arm are an email form...
A whois query of the domain returns a private individuals details.

Any experiences?

hi there, not sure if this will help much but am desperately trying to find a cheap one way car hire in june in the uk and had a look at this site you mentioned. i'm not sure how i did it but have managed to find a phone number for them: 01738450440. they do seem to have the best prices and for me the bonus is that they don't add a one way surcharge, which does make me question their legitimacy. will try phoning and post back how i get on. good luck!

I have booked through the site mentioned above and they seem legit,they take a deposit now and you pay the rest when you pickup the car.

I spoke to a guy at Europcar separately who said he recognised the name and that they deal with them.
He certainly couldn't match the price... was nearly £200 more for eaxctly same vehicle (SIPP code IVMR).
