Right, so far hubby has spent £43.61 on petrol (I'm sure he drinks it or something....:o), and our food shop last week was a very respectable £41.31, so total spent so far £84.92. Hubby only fills his car up twice a month, and mine shouldn't need filling for ages as I'm not really using it, so we're doing well so far - just need to keep our shopping bill low this weekend, although we seem to be running out of everything!

Just checked the bills account and I think there's £371 still to debit, but a balance of £559....that doesn't sound right because the bills account is normally fairly tight, literally just enough money to cover everything. Hmmm, will have to see what happens there. At least it's not the other way round.

    Urrgghhhhh....I'm ill.....how did that happen???

Been up all night with the worst stomach pains, literally crying in pain and running to the loo every 10 minutes or so........thought I was in labour at first but realised fairly quickly it must be a stomach bug or something.

Hubby was up pouring peppermint tea down my throat and rubbing my back at 4.30am (so he's passed the 'will he be any good during labour' test), finally got to sleep at about 6.30am and slept most of the morning.

My stomach still hurts but not quite as bad, just queasy and churning now, but can't face anything to eat, not even toast (not even chocolate!).

Just been reading IA's thread and actually felt jealous that she was feeling ill because of a hangover, rather than just for no reason at all lol :)

Oh and sea78, we managed to get the birthing ball thingy blown up with a tyre pump, thanks for the tip!

Poor snaggles :o it's rubbish being ill at any time, never mind when you can't get comfortable anyway!! Hope you're feeling better soon. Lol at hubbie passing your 'will he be any good during labour' test, lucky you!! Now, if we could just get them to actually DO the labour...

I like the idea of hubby actually doing the labour - where do I sign up for that? :)

Feeling slightly better now thanks, I've just managed to eat a mini-doughnut! Probably not the most nutritious thing to eat but at least it's stayed down, despite my stomach still being on spin cycle.

Hope everyone else is enjoying the lovely weekend weather and having a good day xxx

Poor you snaggles - hope you feel much better soon - it could be your body clearing itself out for labour as well as being a little ill? I certainly had that a few days before labour with dd.

Hope things don't get any worse, or more uncomfortable for you. At least if it is a bug you are getting it out of the way.

Try eating a jaffa cake. (they are a bit like stardrops in my house - fab for everything...:D )
