We bought one of those bags of Smart Price peppers to use for the veg kebabs (the ones where they are all weird shapes and sizes) - had to laugh at this one!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

I had my little girl whilst clearing my debts. I bought loads of stuff of ebay and boiled washed and sterilised it all. Only thing I bought new were pram, car seat and cot and mattress. Try and go for car seat that converts when baby is about9 months or else you ll need to splash another 100 quid.
There is a certain store on the high street that a well known nappy maker makes nappies for. (Clues Puss in ..... and rhymes with hampers). Save about 4 pound per 76 nappies. Breast fed so did nt need milk which is about 5.95 a tin.
Its do able, shop in sales and dont get carried away (difficult I know).
Xmas just gone I went mad in the Next sale my duaghter is now kitted out til she is 24 months (currently 7 months!)0 -
Thanks Kerry, especially for the clue! I'll be giving those a try.
Luckily I had quite a lot of the 'big' items from when I had DS 6 years ago, so I've only had to buy a car seat, new mattresses and a few bits and pieces, which has saved me a fortune. I'm going to breast feed for as long as I can too, although it's more down to laziness (no mixing/warming/sterilising) than moneysaving lol.
I'm really hoping we will be able to have the baby without any new debt at all, which would be great."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
So glad that the jaffa cakes are in place Snaggles. Babby can make an appearance now and all will be well with the worldSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
