Glad to hear it!
I hope your cold clears up soon, there seem to have been some horrible ones around. My colleagues just laughed a few weeks ago when I said I couldn't hear anything but I really couldn't... not good in a customer service job :rotfl:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Oh I don't care though, it's not as if there are a lot of bikini-wearing opportunities in my life lol! I'd rather have a baby than perfect skin and a perfect figure (not that I ever did have either of those).

After my c section the midwife explained that the location of the scar meant I'd still be able to wear a bikini. I just laughed at her optimism

Hahaha, that made me laugh! :rotfl:Mrs_Sparkle wrote: »After my c section the midwife explained that the location of the scar meant I'd still be able to wear a bikini. I just laughed at her optimism
My bikini wearing days ended looooooonnnnggg since. I don't think I'd want to now, even if I could - I'd feel naked
I'll settle for getting back in my jeans and being able to see my toes again!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I know, everyone else who has given birth recently has been really brave and managed to carry on posting between contractions. I'm scared I'll turn into a complete wuss and wont be able to do anything! I will definitely try and start a thread when anything happens though, and I've told hubby he will have to do it if I can't.Hi Snaggles, remember to post a thread just before you pop off to the hospital. I'm watching Home Birth Diaries on Discovery Home and Health, and terrifying myself with how painful it looks - I can't really remember the pain from last time "I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Thanks, I'm still deaf this morning and my face aches, but I'm seeing the midwife tomorrow so will check with her if I need to see the doctor.Glad to hear it!

I'm so glad I'm not at work, I wouldn't have been able to cope with it at all - don't know how you did it!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Hahaha, just had a text off a friend who lives quite a way away and I don't see that often - I sent her the photo of my bump that I posted yesterday (on previous page) - she's sent me a message saying 'You're not pregnant at all, you're just hiding a football up your top'.....and now I look at the photo, it does look a bit like that :rotfl:
Feels a lot heavier than a football though!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Snaggles,
Once you go onto labour, you'll remember EVERYTHING!!! Trust me...
I told my husband (once labour started with number 2) that I didn't want to do it anymore...lol

That's a bit how I feel......I'm not sure if I really want to go through with it..... I'm a bit scared!
A few people have told me they were more apprehensive with their second though, so maybe it's normal. I'm determined not to let fear get the better of me though, and try and enjoy the birth a bit more if possible this time round. (Not sure 'enjoy' is the right word, but you know what I mean
