Hahaha, okay, I promise I will take it easy tonight and have a rest. I might even get hubby to take me out for a drive as DS is away for the night. Oooh, I could get him to take me out for tea......nah, need to save money!

oh snaggles that sounds awfull scary.:eek: I hope you are ok now and try to avoid driving, and as the midwife/nurse said try to slow down, your health and the babies is more important than any odd job!

Thanks cattie, I WILL take the advice I promise!

The thing is, it's hard to know when you are overdoing it - I mean, yes, I did overdo it a bit this morning (was up a ladder painting, silly me ), but generally I've been either sitting or standing and just moving a paintbrush from side to side.

But today has scared me enough to take the 'slowing down' thing seriously! I could have killed people if I had passed out. That's a horrible thought.

Yes - I couldn't lift an arm and do something with the other - so couldn't change lightbulbs etc either!

Do take it easy - perhaps ask her specifically abou t it? Can you ring her?

It's so bizarre the things that happen to your body when you are pregnant. We're supposed to be designed to do this for goodness sake!

I think I will ring the midwife tomorrow, although she will probably tell me off for doing too much too.

After tomorrow I'll be on maternity leave, and DS is on Easter holidays for two weeks, so I'll have chance to relax a bit more.

I finally have a bump worth showing off! Sorry the photo is a bit blurry, hubby took it on his camera phone - he was probably shaking with laughter (or fear) at the state of me lol.

Thanks Annie! Happy Easter to you too. Think someone has been force-feeding me Mars Eggs (how yummy are THEY!!!) in my sleep, from the way I have suddenly expanded

The skin on my tummy feels a bit irritated though, so I reckon I'm going to pay for this bump with loads of stretch marks! Oh I don't care though, it's not as if there are a lot of bikini-wearing opportunities in my life lol! I'd rather have a baby than perfect skin and a perfect figure (not that I ever did have either of those).
