Well it's payday today (hurray) and it's my last month of salary before I go onto smp. I've just checked the bank account and it's looking quite healthy, and my salary was about £200 more than expected.

I think it's because I was due a bonus payment before I left, which I presume they have now paid me - at least I hope that's what it is, otherwise I've been overpaid and they'll want it back.

Confession time now......we've spent £101 on the credit card , which is made up of Ryan's birthday present, a meal out, the reusable nappies, and a random transaction at Tescos (I can't remember what it was for).

Anyway, at least my bonus payment covers it and leaves me with an extra £99.

    Shall I:

    a) Put it in my savings account to start kick start my car loan challenge

    or

    b) Go out and buy some badly needed clothes before I have to start walking around naked and scaring the neighbourhood children :o

Answers on a postcard please..... :)

    Random Immoral Angel-style workings out:

Petrol and shopping budget for this month £350

Petrol needed £110 (might be less hopefully but will be at least £90)

Shopping £240 - there's 4 weekends between now and next payday, which gives us a shopping budget of £60 per week......that's fab, I think even WE can stick to that!

  • Buy clothes, buy clothes, buy clothes! Quick before someone far more sensible and MSE runs in to tell you off!

In all seriousness, get thee to Primark woman, I've had so many bargains from there lately, and even at full price for say £49 (£50 to car challenge?) you could walk away with a whole new wardrobe ;)

    I love you lot!! :D

Right, clothes it is then, but I'll maybe just spend half of it and put the rest away, otherwise no doubt the car will break down, or the house will flood, as punishment for spending it all!
