I think it's really funny when you go on a date with a guy (not that I've done it for an awfully long time) and they order a vindaloo or something just to impress you....but then it's obviously too hot for them and they just end up all sweaty, red faced and stinking of curry.......VERY attractive!
That's the only reason us women suggest an indian... it's sport to watch them. My hubby still does this, I said to him the other week, order a butter chicken... you've got me, I married you.:rotfl:0 -
Snaggles are you still here?
Sorry I know that's the most annoying thing to say to a mum to be LOL.
Seriously I am away for a couple of days from tomorrow so good luck hope it all goes well for you and I am looking forward to contributing to a congratulations thread very soon.0 -
Snags and Weller,
My DH is a Firefighter and when I first had DD I couldn't get the car seat of the pram chassis and called DH at work (no, not 999!) anyhoo, to cut a long story short (too late!) they sent an appliance to get me as I effing and jeffin all over the shop trying to get the stoopid thing off! Was v embarassing...None of his workmates would look me in the eye as I was having a MAJOR strop at him in the parking lot of Mothercare, lolEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Hahaha, don't you just LOVE embarrassing them!
I had to get up extremely early (5am - not impressed!) one morning a few weeks ago to take hubby into work as he'd had a 'few' drinks at a works party the night before (free bar ) - just as I was saying goodbye to him, a group of his workmates arrived too....so of course I HAD to shout 'see you later snuffly bunnykins, I love you' across the car park to him!
I'm a very very bad person......."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
nearlyrich - thanks very much, that's really lovely, but I bet I'm still here when you get back anyway lol!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

I once sent DH flowers at work! He was MORTIFIED! lol
I also make him tell me he loves me on the phone LOUDLY when I call him on his mobile, hee heeEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Flowers to work.....oh, I'd never thought of that...... maybe when I'm debt free lol! :rotfl:
And too right, why shouldn't he say he loves you loud and proud?????"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
hey snaggles just checkin on you n the bump. I think you should just stay on here till the bitter end, seems everyone gets in a flap if your not on for five minutes :rotfl: although the web n walk seems a good plan, they can get minute to minute posts on where you are, what your doing, the dilation of your cervix
cunning plan....if your standing upright and natasha refuses to 'fall out' stand on your hands and see if she climbs out?
you can tell I've not got kids eh? :rotfl:0 -
Okay, time to look at the money - first of all the meal plan - did I manage to stick to it? I've just had a look back and we didn't do too bad, swapped a few things round and missed one of the meals completely but we did eat most of the things we were supposed to:
Gammon for hubby/ds (Quorn sausages for me), carrots, sweetcorn, croquette potatoes and gravy YES
Pasta & quorn (again ) bolognaise sauce YES
Chicken, salad, new potatoes YES - turned out to be turkey, but close enough!
Jacket potatoes and beans, salad cheese instead of beans but YES
Fish, oven chips, peas NOPE - had a pregnancy moment and couldn't face this
Quorn curry & rice (there's a rogan josh cook-in sauce lurking in the cupboard which needs using) YES
Will have a look through the freezer and do a new meal plan later."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I once phoned an ex at work, left a message with the woman in reception (loved to gossip) that I was calling from the STD clinic and he needed to get in touch urgently.... but that's a whole new subject:rotfl:0
