where did you find it? Not mentioned from their main site that I can see.... just wary it could eb a very well made phishing site.

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but that doesn't mean they're not out to get you. ;)

Yeah but the details look subtly different and it's on a different network from the looks,

    ~ $ host vanquis.co.uk
    vanquis.co.uk has address 62.128.159.113
    vanquis.co.uk mail is handled by 100 relay2.netnames.net.
    vanquis.co.uk mail is handled by 10 relay1.netnames.net.
    ~ $ host evanquis.co.uk
    evanquis.co.uk has address 86.54.143.17
    evanquis.co.uk mail is handled by 100 relay2.netnames.net.
    evanquis.co.uk mail is handled by 10 relay1.netnames.net.

Same registrar etc though, so probably fine & just a different hosting provider (or a proving/test box until they move it to live...)

    [edit]
actually I've convinved myself that's what it is now, a test environment - the block evanquis is on is registered to some co-lo hosting lot in Brighton, whereas the block vanquis is on is registered to an entity in London, so somewhere a lot better connected probably down the docklands ;)

It's now fully working, just registered .... looks okay ....

Once you sign up .... wait for it ...

They want 49p for you to have online access and paper statements!

Free if you turn off paper, had to be a catch but I'm pleased it's here

    Warning!

    Something dodgy going on here!
Just tried to register and it comes up with someone elses email address and mobile phone number when confirming details, and it won't let you log in at all.

Also, there doesn't appear to be any encryption on the site.

Vanquis call centre is closed right now, but I'll be calling them in the morning.

Advise not to enter your details until I report back in the morning.

(I'm maxed out, so I'm not panicking just yet!)

Maxed out cards can still go over the limit. If you have ANY doubts what so ever, cancel that card.

Maybe the site just isn't ready to be used, that could be the reason why Vanquis themselves haven't started advertising it publicly?

Yeah I'll be calling them first thing in the morning. Probably is just a test environment at the moment, so I'll do as they suggest tomorrow. If I get any info about the site itself I will post it here.
