:T BB, on the new bag. Enjoy it
Pap - You ok?
Pretending to be yes, really no
Since I have come off CD all my pcos symtoms have returned, and the ones that didn't go but was in slumber are now back
Obviously with CD I was getting all my vits/min so whatever my body was/is missing I had, now its missing again
Plus that and what with all the stuff happening at work my depression is back. I just need to get through to my holiday I am sure I will be fine. 0 -
aww pap, sorry your feeling really down hun,

can you find out what vits were in the cd stuff and buy them from a chemist to take?Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Ohhhh Pap - sounds as though you're having a bit of a "mare".....Is it worth going to your GP and explaining the link with the PCOS and CD, they might be able to get a dietician to help draw something up with you?
As for the depression, are you taking anything? Is the running helping?
Huge hugs to you.....don't suffer in silence though, we're all here to help."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
PAP - can you get some sort of multi-vitamin supplement - maybe go look somewhere like Boots? Or try the vitamin pills marketed as being for women? Just wondering if it would help at all.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0

Evening!
Well I'm stuffed, mum and dad always pile my plate high with goodies, well it would be rude not to eat it.
Katsu - I hope the face calms down soon.
Pap - sending you lots of hugs and moral support.
Claire - glad you're having a fab weekend.
I'm watching Pineapple dance studio, I know it's mind numbing tv, but man it's soo compelling and you think what are they going to say next. And the fact Michael Burke narrates it, makes it very bizzare!

Claire CD has everything your body needs, ie everything that medical science has 'worked out' we need.. The only way around It I feel is to get a multi vitamin to take daily maybe? Although I don't know if that will work but its worth a try I suppose. (Sorry Katsu, cross posts)Ohhhh Pap - sounds as though you're having a bit of a "mare".....Is it worth going to your GP and explaining the link with the PCOS and CD, they might be able to get a dietician to help draw something up with you?

Its happens Pooky but I think CD started it all. I know you are all here but you all have worrys of your own, I don't want to burden others with anymore.
I have thought about going to the GP but they didn't want to help at all before (well they will if I want kids) so I don't see how they would help me now? No not taking anything for the depression, its lonly occured in teh last two weeks agin. I only took something for a week last time I had it so I doubt I will go and get something this time. I havn't been running for 2 weeks. However I ran Friday and Saturday and I do feel better for it, Plus walking miles and miles with the dog
Ohh I did smile at your two tigers lastnight/this morning though :rotfl:0 -
pap - have you tried St Johns Wort for the depression? You can buy it OTC, and it works if the depression isn't too severe. You could get it in the chemist when you get the vitamins?
I've got some "well woman" ones that cost around £10 per month (haven't taken them for ages :embarasse) as they talk about having evening primrose and starflower oil along with reasonably high levels of vitamin B6. Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
One thing I've learnt lately with Dr's is if you go in expecting them to simply know what your thinking then you come away unhappy....If you go in and say "this is the problem, this is what I want to achieve, how can you help me sort it" then they're much more proactive as they can understand what you want from them.
It's worth popping in for a chat. Is there any websites about pcos that mention anything about which vitamins and minerals give you a good boost?
And yes, we've all got other stuff going on, doesn't mean we don't want to help and support others though....it's the reason the forum exists.
As for the tigers, the pictures will be brought out on 18th birthdays

PAP - we're always here if you want to vent; we're an extended family and are always happy to lend an ear or shoulder.
