I thought it was Frankie Boyle who did the downs syndrome stuff.

Michael Mcintyre's harmless.....I find him very funny.

it was Boyle, yes. He explained what happened - a couple in the audience who were texting and talking. He tried to ask what the guy did for a job etc and the guy refused to answer......he asked if he was John Venables  and said it kind of went downhill from there.......

I liked some of the celebrity stuff - his explanation of what John Terry on Dragons' Den would be like was funny, but other stuff was a bit close to the mark.

I try to like McIntyre but his persona just annoys me, I find him a bit smarmy and a bit too 'Famous Five, ok let's have a picnic, very spiffing'.

Maybe that's why I like him, always loved a jolly good picnic with lashings of ginger beer. :D

Thanks for the sympathy Pooky and Chick-chick. I didn't have anti-histamines but did stick a cold wet flannel on my face for a while which helped.

I've had the antibiotic cream before (used it from around Dec-March) and it made my skin red then, but not as bad as today. I got a Liz Earle moisturiser as they said it was designed for excema etc so I thought it would be OK. I had a puffy swollen face when I woke up, so the moisturiser didn't cause it, but it didn't seem to help. I'm thinking of trying the antibiotic cream again tonight to see if the reaction is less severe - I still look red. Dr did say when I first had it, that it takes some getting used to... I will then wash it off without using the Liz Earle cleanser, and then use some tea tree moisturiser I have, which I used last time I had the antibiotic cream.

Then if I still have the reaction, back to the Drs with me!

Well, I have a house that smells of oranges. Just made orange curd to take with me to class on Tuesday for them to try whilst their chicken dish is cooking .
