Morning all
Sal - Good luck with meeting the parents today.
BB - Sorry your evening wasn't as good as you'd have hoped last night, I must admit I don't find Frankie Boyle funny in the slightest, far to "shock factor" for me - he actually makes me feel uncomfortable. Did OH enjoy it though?
Pap - You ok?
DD's haven't surfaced yet - they will still being "ninja tigers" at 4am....and if you can't be a ninja tiger on a bank holiday weekend then when can you! I seem to have a serious lack of biscuits and nibbly stuff in the house so I'm assuming they've been raiding the cupboards. :T
Few bits have just finished on ebay - all sold this time so will get those wrapped, along with some stuff for music magpie.."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
ARGH - my neighbour is making lots of noise and if I hear them shout 'ramsey no', one more time, the dog and its ball will become one!

aww bun not nice, i've decided worrying about the hassle i've had on facebook about the bathroom, isn't worth it too, if the persons don't like my opinions tough.
can you go back to bed for a few hours?Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -

OH laughed all the way through. When we got back I said 'did you enjoy tonight' he shrugged and said 'it was ok'.
I did laugh at a fair bit of it and although what he said was close to the line on many occasions, there was nothing that offended me in that it was so unexpected that I thought 'I didn't see that coming' and there was nothing that pushed any buttons personally (no fat jokes - I was very surprised to be honest!!). I just felt it was all a bit 'done already' - Madeline McCann, Michael Jackson, Cheryl Cole,David and Victoria Beckham, John Terry. Lots of references to sex, sexual abuse, genitalia etc and taking the pish out of people in the audience. Dara O'Brien (sp?) does that also but he makes the people almost heros whereas Frankie Boyle was kind of 'oh, an engineer? That does stuff with metal?, what a boring F'ing C you are mate' and I don't think that's 'clever' it's just almost playground stuff because he couldn't think of anything comically intelligent to say. I would say well over half the audience was male in their 30s. The only one that did make me wince was one about Jade Goody and although I'm not a fan the line was pretty awful.

Bunny - try not to let it bother you, I know it's easier said that done.
BB - sorry to hear you didn't enjoy frankie Boyle that much. I do find him very close to the mark and the least bit unfunny. I sometimes wonder if he's trying too hard to be the next Billy Connelly.
claire - sounds like you had a fantastic time last night. Is that with the neighbours that you initially had problems with?
Pooky - just seen the pics of your DD's on facebook, they made me giggle.
Right back to the studying I go.
