Just for anyone who still cares.... Ive just had an msn brief conversation with mr stood me up on Saturday night.... he asked me what i did at the weekend,to which my answer was "got stood up Sat, which changed my plans for Sunday - so not what i thought I was going to be doing..." then he went offline....

so i text him and asked him if he was ok, and told him he cant treat me the way he does - got the reply "please just leave me alone" - wierdo !!!

I refrained from replying "with pleasure" and sent "ok, if thats what you really want, then thats fine.good luck with everything x "

what an !!!!.... give it a month - bet anyone he will be back !!!

I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole - sounds positively odd!
You're best off out of it!

No further use ups to report but I am getting lower on the Elle McPherson body butter (at last) - maybe this week it'll go?

claire, I agree about the cocoa butter body wash, I tried one from my glitch purchase and wasn't impressed! Still working through it. The rest has gone in the gift stash, discovered that one of my friends LOVES it so guess where it's going? :D

Oh no Bronnie, I hope the aldi one didn't make you look like an old hag . Well if you know it works for you then it really is worth spending the money on it isn't it? At least it lasts well. I've been using mine for a fair while now and haven't even got a visible bubble at the top where it's running out.
Are you going to use up the aldi one on the bacl of your hands then? Or is it that awful?
May catch up later. So now we have a man who doesn't mind being sparkly either! I have to say though, you shouldn't be offering to use up other peoples when you have such a stash yourself :rotfl:, it doesn't work like that. You come on here to celebrate creating space on your own shelves, not someone elses!
    Cheerio all.

Managed to finish off a toothpaste at the weekend. Just another 2 to go.

Do you think a 30 something can get away with using a shimmering perfume on holiday. I got it out of my stash to use for every day but thought I'd better test it and it is definitely shimmering and certainly not work perfume or should I just e-bay it?

    Hag? Moi?

    :rotfl:

Well, the Aldi double lift firming cream promised "immediate" results. However the firming felt like the tautness you feel when a face mask dries and not from within IYKWIM. The Q10 restorative day cream was too heavy in texture for me and was very greasy. Had to wipe my face before putting on foundation even after leaving it for 15 mins.

All together they were doing nothing for plumping and firming my skin, and my skin started to get that slowly-deflating-balloon feeling to it as opposed to a tauter pumped-up-balloon feeling I get with the P&P! (Sorry, that's the only way I can describe it!)

I was wishing I was blind testing it TBH, as thought I might be imagining things, then started to use P&P on one side to compare and the difference was really obvious. The Aldi creams are quite heavily perfumed too.

The good news is each pack carries a satisfaction guarantee, so I rather anxiously went back to Aldi today with the part-used products and my receipt and all credit to Aldi, they gave me a full refund, no quibble. So well done to Aldi for that anyway!!:T

...and at least I've tested it for myself and know where I stand!!

Have to confess to spending £6 on bodyshop glitch and also popped into boots as was craving a sandwich and decided to use my no7 voucher n coconut ice no7 polish and reduced colgate 58p so picked up 4 .

Also wanted to report sucess with superdrugs mua £1 range.I can't fault the eyeliner which is easy to apply and cheaper by £10 compared to the clinique version I use.The nailpolish is nice too, dinky sizes and nice colours -a lovely deep navy with glitter has been tested by moi and it hasn't chipped and was easy to apply although needed 2 coats. Also the lippy is perfect I found a pink which is similar to a mac lipstick pink I have.I recommend this range it's very good.:)

funny debidoodle. I think Bronnie is totally impeccable...she is,in my mind, one of those amazing people who can get dressed, then do some housework without getting covered in the dust she was vacuuming, or cook a meal without getting splashed and staining stuff.
