:eek:Yikes - anyone who has had root canal is allowed to be scared of the dentist. I'm good thanks, hoping to plan in a return trip to edinburgh in autumn with a friend as I actually saw almost nothing of the city back in December. I see from your sig you are still focussed on the mortgage free challenge - I am in awe of the people on that thread.
I hope you see more of Edinburgh this time (and don't end up quite so wet :o :rotfl:). Let me know if you want to meet up again or need any advice on Edinburgh sites. Are you coming up for the Festival/Fringe or later on? :D Are you going to Wols party?

You'll have to be quick Baileys Babe - a lot of chatting goes on here - can be three pages down before you realise (think LfV had that earlier this evening:D).

I've done it, not a nsd, but more importantly caught up with this thread. Unfortunantly had to pay a library fine so a LSD and tomorrow will be a spend as well :(

Could climb into a dustbin and go as R2D2....if you nick one from someone's backyard you can put it down as a NSD.

Yesterday would have been a NSD had it not been for an unfortunate incident which cost me £17 Taxi and £20 food! DS rushed to hospital from rugby with concussion... I am still injured so cannot drive hence needing a taxi to get back home after 4 hours in A&E!
He is on the mend but will probably have a headache for a few more days! Sports... whoever said exercise was healthy should meet my family! I have been off running since Feb with hip injury and now son off rugby with head injury!
Ouch wit40iwtwan! Had more than my fair share of trips to A&E the past few years with DS2, another rugby player. Funny though, the only case of concussion was with DS1...and he was an onlooker at a footbal match!!

I don't expect the A&E trips to stop either, as DS2 has played for Scotland under-17s this year and plans to go on to the U-18s next ... he is also joining a local college in September to study for a National Diploma in Sport (Performance and Excellence in Rugby)...so no let up in the rugby injuries then.though we can hope!!!

Hope you both feel better soon. :)

A spending day today...DH got stuff from L**l, and I topped up with eggs, F&V and vinegar (a great fabric softener), as well as getting some more compost to carry on with potting on my peppers tomorrow.

Going out tomorrow for a speacial meal tomorrow night (31 years DH & I have been together :smileyhea)..and we didn't really celebrate last year as I was not long out of hospital and rather ill.
...so another spending day...hmmmmm it will have to be Thursday and possibly Friday then for NSDs! :D

HAve a grat and frugal week everyone.
