Blimey I think I might have more trouble keeping up with this thread than I wil lin reaching my NSD target.

I went to Brighton in March, but the pier closed early so wasn't allowed to play on the amusement machines after I'd had a drink, very disappointing, after all everyone is always much more competative after a drink :D.

Nargle you can go sans costume if you like but I think I'll pack mine and stay away from that pebble wall that hides an assortment of dangly and wobbly bits :eek:.

I have something to return to Aldi today and will get a tenner in cash. If I spend no more than that can I have it as a NSD (pleeeeese :D).

Hi taka :hello:, how are you?
Yep, got to be quick to keep up with this thread, Tixy:D

Mean people in Brighton, fancy them not allowing you on the amusement arcades after a drink - hardly fair:D

I reckon if manage to avoid spending than tenner (or anything else) today, you can have another NSD - but then I'm kind like that:D:D

I didn't know it was Star Wars day... ooh....

Maybe we should all dress up in Star Wars costumes for our outing to Brighton, quite fancy those plaits round my ears:)

Hey CC, welcome to the madhouse :D. I'm on 10 too so we can egg each other on :).

You can make up the rules that suit you best, so for example, I include everything that is cash or incidental spending on my cards (taking those tenners out!) but not any direct debits or stabding orders that are a regular set up.

Nargle however is very strict and also includes these.

And sme people allocate money, so if you know the kids always go to karate on a Wednesday but Monday is shopping day for you, you can allocate the karate money on shopping day to be used when the time comes so that the Wednesday can still be classed as a no spend day...

I hope that makes some semblance of sense and I've not confused you further! :D

:eek:Yikes - anyone who has had root canal is allowed to be scared of the dentist. I'm good thanks, hoping to plan in a return trip to edinburgh in autumn with a friend as I actually saw almost nothing of the city back in December. I see from your sig you are still focussed on the mortgage free challenge - I am in awe of the people on that thread.
I reckon if manage to avoid spending than tenner (or anything else) today, you can have another NSD - but then I'm kind like that:D:D

Hmmm, well technically I have more cash at the end of today than the start. I returned the item to Aldi for my Dad and pocketed £10.99 (which technically was Dad's money), I then [STRIKE]spent[/STRIKE] used £5.57 so am up by £5.42. I'm sure you'll agree that there is a difference between spending money and using money when it comes to NSDs? :rotfl:

Edit - aw shucks, just remembered I bought petrol this morning, therefore no way I can declare it as an NSD. Huh, must try harder to be organised now I'm on this challenge. Will try to only fill up the car on thursdays as they are almost never NSDs for me.
