NSD #2 for me today :T
It was hard work though, as there were one or two Whoopsies that interested me (purely 'cos they were cheap enough to try without killing my grocery budget) as I left work - and there were heaps of Almond Croissants due for reduction later in the evening (so I would normally have wandered back down just for those, then checked what else there was while I was there)
But I was determined to keep today as an NSD, so I've stuck to my guns and kept my purse in lock-down - to the point we didn't have any veg with tea, 'cos I didn't think to pick it up when I was down there yesterday and tinned veg isn't nice with pie, chips and gravy
Guess tomorrow will be a spend day for the veg.... though I could crack open the emergency tinned veg if I select what we have with it carefullyCheryl0 -

NSD number 2 for me today :jDFW Nerd 941 Proud to be dealing with my debt

I would like to declare today as my second NSD for May :jbut I'm afraid I spent £1. I bought 4 greetings cards from a market stall... I needed a thank you card for my DS16 to give to his teacher when he finishes yr11 and couldn't walk by when it was only going to cost me 25p. If I waited and bought from a proper card shop it would be nearer £1.50 for just one card. There were lots of other stalls that I would normally have been tempted by including plants, sweets, RNLI, books etc but I didn't buy anything else.
Hoping Tues, Wed and Thurs will be NSD's.

Well done all those who avoided spending dosh today! I did not spend anything, but I have a direct debit coming out today, and I am being really strict about this NSD business - only when nothing comes out of my purse, my bank account or out from under my mattress do I count it as a NSD. Having said that, it is a bank holiday, so said offending direct debit won't actually come out until tomorrow.....YESSSS! ANOTHER NSD FOR ME! (Even if it is by default)
Brighton, camping on the beach, singing ging gang goolies by the fire (there goes that man in the skirt again...) - yes, I think definitely a hippy camping trip on Brighton Beach! Pass the patchouli oil and the tank tops and dodgy flares! And if BigM can't make it, then there is always the ferry trip across the Mersey......looks like our diaries are going to be full this month, chaps and chapesses! One life - your life - live it!0 -
Yesterday would have been a NSD had it not been for an unfortunate incident which cost me £17 Taxi and £20 food! DS rushed to hospital from rugby with concussion... I am still injured so cannot drive hence needing a taxi to get back home after 4 hours in A&E!
He is on the mend but will probably have a headache for a few more days! Sports... whoever said exercise was healthy should meet my family! I have been off running since Feb with hip injury and now son off rugby with head injury!
Anyway - today was a much better day - my first NSD AND just opened my TMA04 for my open uni course and I received a 72%
Oh and then there is the whole wedding to prepare for - we decided on Friday to get married on 12th June... yes THIS YEAR! So - with the wedding back on and no time for making of dresses I can see May being rather an expensive month! grrr.... but still hoping to keep to the 20 NSD's!:j:eek:
Well lets see - I dip in and out of MSE all the time but I still come back - have done since 2007!!!

Hi Spoon and the NSD gang:hello:.
I have decided I would like to join in the fun! I know I'm a bit late in starting and I might need some gentle reminders to pop back here and [STRIKE]admit[/STRIKE] declare.
Can I go for a beginners 10 this month please and declare today my 1st NSD for May.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
 What! I do two hours ironing and two more pages have been added.
