HAHA, prices are dropping and all the bulls can do is post graphs with made up numbers from areas that are irrelevant to the rest of the UK.

    LOL!!!
it was actually Brit's area, but never mind, he's sorted.

houses prices will be 50% off peak by Christmas 2009 :T

sorry to disappoint but i would never tell what my mortgage was - i may have said what the repayments were but not the actual mortgage amount, if there were several posts it should be easy to find...

but back to your pity point... the search function is at the top of the page, go and have a search and see if you can find where i've said that my mortgage was £700k.

in the meantime, go and make up another fantasy story to entertain yourself :T

    No - you're lying.

You may have deleted it, as you're understandably embarassed - you certainly did say it though.

Surely these figures are easily skewed and pretty pointless in these times? The postcode I'm looking in shows 6 properties sold this month cheapest 178K and most expensive 4m. None of the other properties were under 450K even though average price for postcode is about 245K according to LR.

    * other posters don't worry this is carolt's monthly "angry looking for a fight phase". things must be bad at home.
it happens each and every month. just let it vent.
Carolt is spoiling for her monthly fight again. I do wish she would stop using MSE as an executive stress toy...

    "You must have deleted it".

Well that's a sure-fire way of winning every possible argument for the rest of time.

Your very low transaction sound bite would have some weight if we were looking at a single months figures, but we're into a 14 month trend now, which is more than enough transactions to be reliable.

But then you knew that didn't you, and I'm just feeding the troll :(

    2005-2007 average transactions were 130/month.
During the recession they fell to 50/month.
December 2009 they were back at 100/month

Might want to try getting some facts to back up your 'end is nigh' claims.
