lol - Brit you and your reality denying lunatic fringe do make me laugh.

    Just a point.

Brit said property bee prices. That's asking prices.

You are using sold prices to state he is wrong.

Two different things, as you are well aware. To be fair, most asking prices drop!

i know that, you know that, brit doesn't want to understand that.

we've gone from asking prices are down - rightmove says otherwise for his area.

we've gone to percentage of asking prices achieved. they are also rising which by default means sale values are rising. this would probably also mean asking prices would rise, proved by rightmove index rising.

he's now claiming that only the more expensive properties are selling or increasing in value - that isn't the case, as all property types have increased in value in his area.

i bothered to find the data just to prove that point...

all property types have been selling and have had price ranges of on average 10% since Jan 2009 for all the areas you claim you've been looking at.

that's flat's, maisonettes, terraced, semi-detached and detached properties which would cover all price ranges of properties not the high end properties that you claim are the only ones to rise

here you go........ fill your boots Brit's - i like your never say die spirit though :T

I like that you use the whole boroughs which are forced up by the likes of Chiswick and Central Richmond. Hardly FTB locations but more for millionaires and foriegn investors. I'm looking at other areas within the borughs with cheaper properties which are falling in value where I have a chance to be buying.

Plus not interested in Kingston, to far out as the cheaper areas are on the far side.

Why does it bother you what house prices do, chucky?

Seeing as you're so well set up and all.

Why does it bother you where/whether Brit or others like him want to buy a house?

He (and I) post on here and read on here because buying a secure roof over our heads at a price that doesn't bankrupt us is very important to us.

    What's your excuse?

Surely you must have something better to do than gloat at people who don't own houses yet???

Or is your 700K mortgage giving you sleepless nights?

Does gloating at Brit give you some sort of strange relief?

nope it's not gloating. it's catching Brit out in his lies and also his lack of understanding...
he makes stuff up, i provide him with facts. quite simple.
you should read the thread instead of thinking about me all the time..

£700k mortgage??? sorry to disappoint but that's not me. lol

you sound angry today... it must be Carol's monthly angry time where she uses the internet for stress relief... chin up. lmao

You said in several previous posts you had a 700K mortgage.

Not clear why this should make me 'angry' - I think 'pity' would be a better word to describe my feelings towards anyone with a mortgage like that. Coupled with a certain amount of impatience at and disdain for anyone without a huge salary who would get themself into debt like that.

HAHA, prices are dropping and all the bulls can do is post graphs with made up numbers from areas that are irrelevant to the rest of the UK.

    LOL!!!

sorry to disappoint but i would never tell what my mortgage was - i may have said what the repayments were but not the actual mortgage amount, if there were several posts it should be easy to find...

but back to your pity point... the search function is at the top of the page, go and have a search and see if you can find where i've said that my mortgage was £700k.

in the meantime, go and make up another fantasy story to entertain yourself :T
