Morning All!
Been a busy bee this week, in and out all the time!
((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) tto all who need them.
DD has had to give up feeding baby. The mastitis was too painful. The antibiotics have kicked in, but both I and her midwife said it wasn't worth beating herself up over it all. Baby is now perfectly happy and putting in weight, and Mum is recovering!:T
Getting my roots done and hair cut today, I look like a sheepdog:rotfl: Been meaning to do it for a few weeks, and couldn't find the time.
Bed stripped and in the wash, towels changed, I'm doing okay today. The MS is a lot better, the sun is out! Mine is really bad in the cold and dark of Autumn and Winter, I'd like to live in a place where it's always Summer:rotfl:
Salmon for dinner tonight. YUM!
Tru So sorry to hear about your bunny
Have a great day all!
I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Morning All ,
Just a quickie (oo-er) as still under a mountain of work
DH and I are off for our week in Whitby tomorrow :j:j so I have to get myself sorted so that I don't come back to a total mess at work again! Very much looking forward to it
OS is limited today to cooking tea which will be a sort of mixed grill - lamb steaks, sausage, kidney, mushrooms, onion rings and peas, and quite possibly chips for DH who is having a massive appetite surge atm! Mum wants to defrost the freezer whilst we're away so am trying to use everything up so she doesn't have to bother with packaging our stuff up.
Right must get on, hope everyone is ok and has a lovely day xx
Oh and hugs to Ladygrim - still thinking of you xxSometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,
What you've been out there searching for forever is in your hands0 -
Hi all,
Just getting me tea and toast so that i can sit comfortably and post.
Today i've got to do some more baking,my eldest son has put his order in for chounky choc brownies,so will get on with those in a bit. Washers on so will have to debate later whether to put it out or not as it's a bit dull here today:( We had loads of rain last night and it looks like we'll have some more later.
My mate is picking me up about lunchtime to go to the local RSPCA to have a bit of a sob at the poor cats and dogs,we do this about once a mth because they have a chalet as well that sells things to the public so thats our way of helping out a bit, every little helps as they say
After that i'll be thinking about what to have for tea,but haven't got a clue at the moment,i'll go freezer diving in a bit:rotfl:0 -
Morning everyone.
Had rain yesterday, now sunshine today but I suspect it won't last. Will I be able to get the washing dry though?!
DS in a funny mood - been arguing with H that he doesn't want to grow up to be a man  Then he's been MEGA fussy about what clothes he wants to wear and just generally being "off" (sorry hard to explain). Oh well probably just a phase and finding his feet again.
Have packed most of our stuff for the weekend, just a couple more bits and bobs to sort out. I am sure though I will forget something
Not likely to post over the weekend so hope you peeps have a lovely BH
Very sorry as there is absolutely no OS in this post - might clean the sink if I get chance and sort out the laundry and that's about it. Heading off as soon as H gets in from work so will be grabbing a sandwich or something for tea.
Ladygrim - I am sorry I thought the funeral was last weekbut from what people have posted is it today? Anyway I am sending you lots of hugs and hope today goes well xxx

Cranky - that pic of Elf and Pixel was FAB :T
Haribo - I've found I've got friends a bit like thatHugs to you x
Hilstep - glad to hear baby is thriving. Shame DD couldn't manage feeding but I do think if a mum is struggling with pain and finding it difficult their sanity is also important.
Butterflybrain - :rotfl: @ your H. Do you have a parrot that says "pieces of eight"?!Your rabbit sounds fab - a bunny that thinks he's a dog
I had a cat like that, she had better recall than a dog LOL!
Cupof chai - welcome :j
Diva - Mmmmm brown sauce on toast <drools and heads off to the kitchen>
Hugs to those that need them. Have a good Friday OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Hi All,
First chance to post for a few days as work is mad but off now til Tuesday so hoping to relax and get organised OS wise.
Diva lovely to see you at the top of the thread again. Hope you are feeling better.
We have made the decision to begin a DMP (Debt Management Plan) as we are getting nowhere fast at the minute. DH is struggling for work and we need to be budgeting properly and being realistic about what we can pay off the debts. I had my LBM several months ago but now we are in agreement. Hoping to start beginning of June so in the meantime lots of sorting and admin to do. It should make us both feel better and perhaps we can make some headway on the debts. Very scary though:eek:
Doing ok diet wise and hoping to do something with sweet potato for tea. Off to take DGS to nursery.
(((((HUGS)))) to those who need one.
Catch up later J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
Working hard to get rid of our debt.0 -
Butterflybrain, We have a dog that thinks she's human. She really does talk to DH (not to me, she knows she can wheedle DH round her little paw).
Our new bed arrived this morning (at 7.15, I was told it would be late morning), closely followed by the window installers who are replacing all the old windows we didn't do when we extended the house. We're trying to get the house in really good shape for our retirement.
I've got big plans this weekend for finishing off putting away all the boxes of stuff sitting in the dining room and touching up any paintwork that needs it and washing down all the window frames and doors outside. DH wants to refit some of the doors which are not quite fitting and the lawns need mowing and the garden tidying (about the extend of out horticultural prowess I'm afraid).
I will also be meal planning for our American visitors who arrive later in the week. It needs to be easy cook ahead or quick because we'll be out with them a lot of the time. I'm planning lasagne, beef in chianti (recipe from M & S website) and there inspiration ends, will have to get my thinking cap on.
Have a good day everyone.0 -
