Seen the Ipod accessories in Leeds Albion Street store - however not seen any of the other bargains - I am guessing they are clearing out stock from christmas.

  • I managed to get a new Vsmile pocket for £19.99, with the Zoo game! They did have to override it at the till though. This was the Camberley store and they only had one, but you may be lucky elsewhere!

Did you see the ipod shuffle station at £8 as my friend got the last one friday lunch time..Have they added some more...
    Thanks
  • Last week Boots at Bluewater Kent had the Apple iPod USB Power Adapters for £9.50, half price from £19.00. Stupidly I didn't buy one (there were about 15 left) and then today when I went back to get one they had reduced them to £4.75 and the shelves were empty. iPod Nano Lanyard headphones were also £4.75 but they'd all gone !!

Does anyone know when these 'final' reductions started, and why the same items are not reduced online?

  • We popped into Boots Kingston on Friday and picked up:

    Bush DVD recorder - £29.99
    Kenwood Ice-cream maker - £7.49
White collection Picture frame - £2.49
    Philips Micro Hifi - £16.66

I thought we would try a bigger store to see if there was better stock.
We got the following from Boots in Kew:

    Bush DVD recorder - £29.99
    Philips DVD recorder - £37.94
PS 2 with sonic heroes, buzz and 4 pads - £49.99
    Philips freeview box - £16.66
And a No7 gift box - £3.25 to keep the other half happy!
    ;)
  • We also wanted the Nintendo DS and 3 game bundles for £38 and the PSP value pack for £68 but the staff member informed me that they had been stolen by staff out of the stock room!

I spoke to customer services to complain that they have thieves working in their stores and that their staffs advertise this. :(

Needless to say that they weren’t too happy. They said they would investigate and gave me £10 boots points (1000 advantage points according to the other half) to spend in store.

I would have preferred a cheap PSP!!!

We got a Tommee Tippee Movement and Digital Temperature Monitor in Coventry town centre for £66.95 instead of £99.99. Well chuffed.
Do not speak- unless it improves on silence.
